Greet location. Right next to the station. Go onto the platforms and you'll see the apartments over the other side of the station. You can walk across the platforms to gain access. The apparents look very new. The one we stayed in (no 9) was a twin bedded. But truthfully was only big enough for a single. It was very small. Bathroom well appointed and new. Very clean. All in all. An inexpensive place to stay right next to the railway.
all reviews » We booked an airport transfer and Simoni picked us up from the airport. He was very nice and gave us some suggestions for eating and sightseeing in Split. Rooms are clean. We told Simoni we were on our honeymoon and he gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and a bigger room than we originally had. We left to Hvar for the night and we left our luggage which was locked in a room near the reception. Very fiendly, family run small apartments in the heart of the city. Near to everywhere; bus, ferry, train, old city, beaches...We stayed one more night than we had reserved. If you don't look for luxery, I strongly recommend you to stay here in your upcoming Split vacation. Simon, his elder sister and their mom... thank you for your hospitality...!. Great friendly welcoming staff who helped whenever they could. Easy walk to city and bus terminal and ferry port.They will transfer you to eg Trogir for reasonable fee. Receptionist and all the family gave great welcome to Croatia. location was good - just about 1 minute from the train station, 3 from the bus station, 5 from the harbour, and less than 10 mins to the old city. the studio apartment was not very spacious, but it was clean and had most of the things we need. there was a balcony too, which was a plus. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I had problems with wifi so the lady brought her own laptop for my email check.The room was clean and we had view towards the harbor. The location was very close to the railway, bus and boat connections so no taxi was needed to carry the luggage. We stayed two nights. The first bed was so uncomfortable we changed rooms. The second night was fine, in a front facing room with a nice view and kitchenette. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the palace, next to the train station. The location, right behind the train and bus station and ferry port. Wifi signal was very low. Trains waiting in the station make so much noise. A little bit of train and ferry port noise but that is necessary if you want to be near ferry. downside of being so close to the train station is the noise, but we were not that bothered by it. we needed internet access for some work stuff, but there was no wifi in the room, even though we were given passwords and the ads said there was gonna be wifi. quite disappointing in that regard, because we needed it for some important work - not just random facebooking etc. Train noise. Go for the apartment with kitchenette. Would be nice to have a breakfast option. Our stay was overall great - although the bed was not the most comfortable and the fridge didn't work well. Otherwise it was fabulous and great value for money. nothing.. The only thing I didn't like about my stay had nothing to do with Simoni, but with the guests that lodged there. Lots of young "backpacker" types (first time in Europe-let's book the top floor accomodation, see how many people we can cram in a room, hold a party in the hallway and make lots of noise). Slight mix up with the bed request but sorted out quickly. Was a bit noisy in the corridors. - Wi fi was average strength - Less like apartments but more like you are staying in a room in someone's house - not a bad thing but owners were quiet noisy in the mornings if you try and sleep in! - no lift means carrying suitcase up 4 flights but the owners help you!. Rooms a little smallish, but fine for the price. There is some noise from the trains. There was nothing we didn't like. We had an excellent stay. Very small rooms. Too compact for 2 adults each with a medium-size suitcase. Only place to open a case was on the bed, & only a small space in the kitchenette to stand it up. Fortunately we had a balcony with table & 2 chairs which we used continually. Bathroom was small & dark. Smell from air-con unit while running. Wifi only in reception. veryvery small room with wierd hole in the bathroom ceeling :D. We found our room to be fine for one night, but we wouldn't have stayed longer than this. The room was small and too cold and the heating system took a long time to work. Had to sleep with 3 layers of blanket. we got twin beds instead of a double bed(possibly my fault on booking), with very little facilities and very cramped space.
