  The hotel owners mid-20's son greeted us in the parking lot. He arranged to take care of our parking pass. He helped carry some luggage. As we arrived at 8pm, the owner(mother) had prepared a plate of ham and cheese and olives that was delightful, knowing we hadn't eaten dinner yet! Place was clean, spacious, and quiet!   I loved Apartments Familia for many reasons. The #1 reason were the owners Ankica and her husband. They picked us up at the bus station and helped us with our large suitcases - very hospitable and fun! Ankica was a great help to us by getting all the information on the ferries to the islands...greatly appreciated! I have never been given such a welcoming anywhere else, she is a lovely lady and I would never hesitate in totally recommending Apartment Familia to any other travellers. Minutes to restaurants and a very short stroll to the beach and markets.

  Fantastic hotel with great access to all Makarska has to offer. After an initial mix up with our booking, this was fixed without any fuss and the next day we also received a beautiful fruit basket and bottle of wine from the management. Breakfast was probably the best we had been offered on our Europe trip, fresh and plentiful every morning regardl - Best place we have stayed- location can't get any better than that.The service from 1st day to last was 1st class.The view from balcony awesome- food great and plentiful.
