  The hotel owners mid-20's son greeted us in the parking lot. He arranged to take care of our parking pass. He helped carry some luggage. As we arrived at 8pm, the owner(mother) had prepared a plate of ham and cheese and olives that was delightful, knowing we hadn't eaten dinner yet! Place was clean, spacious, and quiet! We only stayed one night but it would be an ideal place for a longer stay, very centrally located, friendly staff and beautiful rooms (especially charming are the huge windows that open on to a very quiet street).

  I loved Apartments Familia for many reasons. The #1 reason were the owners Ankica and her husband. They picked us up at the bus station and helped us with our large suitcases - very hospitable and fun! Ankica was a great help to us by getting all the information on the ferries to the islands...greatly appreciated! I would definitely stay at Apartments Familia again and would strongly recommend it to any travelling t - Ankica was so welcoming, she answered all my correspondence, had her lovely husband collect us from the bus, gave us a bottle of her home made cherry brandy that was magnificent, and was available for any queries that we had. I have never been given such a welcoming anywhere else, she is a lovely lady and I would never hesitate in totally recommending Apartment Familia to any other travellers. Minutes to restaurants and a very short stroll to the beach and markets.

  Fantastic hotel with great access to all Makarska has to offer. After an initial mix up with our booking, this was fixed without any fuss and the next day we also received a beautiful fruit basket and bottle of wine from the management. Breakfast was probably the best we had been offered on our Europe trip, fresh and plentiful every morning regardl - Best place we have stayed- location can't get any better than that.The service from 1st day to last was 1st class.The view from balcony awesome- food great and plentiful. Pool very relaxing. We really enjoyed our time there.Will be returning again to Hotel Meteor. Makarska is a wonderful place and Hotel Meteor made it more enjoyable

  We were 4 last year and spent 5 days in Makarska and these apartments. We enjoyed so much that we returned for a full week this year. We even convinced 8 other people, friends and family, to come with us. The result was the same, complete satisfaction for all of us. All our friends were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation. Kitchens pro - We stayed in 3 bedroom apartment which was fully equipped with a large balcony. Apartment was extremely clean and close to local supermarket and sea. The owners hospitality was excellent. What a pleasant surprise to be welcomed with local drink and food. Josip was extremely friendly and informative.Nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to our next stay in this excellent apartment complex. It has our highest recommendation.
