  Extremely helpful owners, stunning views, great rooms. - The owners were very nice and were at the ferry port when we arrived and dropped us there again when we were leaving. They gave us helpful advice about the area. The apartment was huge and really nicely decorated (It was nicer than it looks in the pics in my opinion!).   We highly recommend staying at this studio. It was impeccably clean and comfortable and has all the amenities one could wish for including a washing machine, large tv, dvd player (+dvds), microwave etc. Mirica and Vicko are such welcoming hosts who make sure that you have everything you need. The location is fantastic, just two minutes from the ol... what people say » d town with all it's cosy restaurants. The balcony is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the afternoon sun after a day of activities! - Vicko meeting us at ferry port in his big 4x4, and later taking us back. Since it wasn't booked and we stayed for 2 days he let us have a very spacious duplex apt so I cannot comment on what the smaller rooms are like. Korcula is a gorgeous little gem of a town and I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant prices which seem to be much cheaper than those in the other very touristy places we stayed in - Split, Brac, Hvar, Cavtat.

  The apartment is exactly as described, situated in a brilliant location to explore Korcula (just a few steps away from the main gate to the old city and a short walk away to the bus station) and it's easy to find (right behind the main post office). We had to collect the keys from a travel agency situated on the main street just outside the old ci... what people say » ty, on the way from the bus station to the apartment, which in fact makes things very easy. The decoration is very nice, the kitchen is fully equipped - Good location just outside the main entrance to the old town (so you avoid having to go up the steps with luggage!). The apartment was a good size, cool and comfortable. The bathroom was big but the as others have noted the shower cubicle was small. It was actually fine, but if you were overweight then it could be an issue.

  It was newly renovated - Lovely modern hotel, with spacious rooms. Woman at reception was most friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance into town. Great breakfast.

  I liked everything about that place! The owner Marijana met me right at the boat port, led me to her house (3min walk), explained about what there was to do and what was happening on korcula during my stay. She was amazing, her apartment super clean (room and toilet). Facilities are okay but you really do not need more than wifi air conditioning a... what people say » nd a closet. - Just outside walled city (still in historical Korcula), half-way between city center and bus station (useful to explore other towns on the island). Short walk to ferry terminals as well. Friendly staff (picked up at the terminal to show the way and we even got a nice goodbye present). When you go, don't forget to pet Marco the cat :)

  I have booked this acomodation because the prices where acceptable and the property is situated in the hearth of the old city, 2 min walk from Marko Polo birth house. I was just passing trough Korcula and I am very sorry I didn't have the chance to stay in this place longer. It's is a great place for longer relaxing stays, honeymoom vacation and r... what people say » elaxing. The apartment is actually an old stone town house rustical decorated, cosy and welcoming. It's is much more nice live than on pictures. The o - Carpe Diem was a beautiful authentic house with all original features and comforts in the heart of Korcula old town - the owners were fantastic - met us from the Dubrovnik bus and thought of everything for our stay including local wine, fruit and milk in the fridge on arrival. They were very kind and hospitable and I would thoroughly recommend this property - it is beautiful.

  Very friendly staff - picked us up from the bus station even though we hadn't arranged it in advance (we just started chatting to a local guy near the bus stop who turned out to be his neighbour - probably not that strange in little Korcula!), and there was a little bottle of grapa (strong grape-based digestif) in the fridge to greet us. Great loc... what people say » ation, very new and clean, no problems with any of the facilities, lovely little balcony too - very reasonable for 45 euros a night. Also, before I bo - We had a room with a balcony overlooking a small garden area and beyond that the sea. Sergio and his wife, Simoni, made us very welcome and even put a small bottle of local spirit in the fridge for us. The Guest House was only a minute walk to the beach and the numerous bars, cafes and restaurants. We enjoyed our short stay at Guest House Leon and would stay there again if we were in Korcula. Many thanks Sergio and Simoni.

  The Marco Polo Apartments are located conveniently in the Old City of Korcula. The owner Edita came to meet us when we reached the gate of the city to direct us to our accommodations. Any accommodation, like this one, within the old city is convenient since Korcula is not a big place. The location is right in the middle of old town with access to the best restaurants and sights literally just a few steps away. The complex itself is a nicely updated set of apartments in a 12th century building.

  I managed to get Maria's fourth room which is in the adjacent street to the others. It is actually a little self contained apartment in a cool, cellar-like location. Great atmosphere and I felt as if I really was living in a' real' local house. I loved Korcula, definitely a highlight of Croatia and this little flat was the perfect base to explore ... what people say » from. Maria doesn't speak much English but is very friendly. - The apartment we had was a tastefully modernised mediaeval stone dwelling in very quiet side street, in heart of the old town, although there are other rooms in next street too where Maria lives. TV and air-con included, and very good value. Maria was more than helpful at all times. It was perfect for us. Attractions, harbour and restaurants only 2 minutes away. Wonderful stay.
