This is the best hostel I've ever stayed in. WAY better than I was expecting. We had the family room with two bedrooms and one bathroom all to ourselves. The beds were comfortable and had cool headboards. There was a pretty garden, a good cafe with coffee and food and a stiff gin and tonic, and a few nice people hanging around but not too crowded. It's on a neat little street just next to some major intersections. They let us store our bags overnight when we weren't there, and let us in even wh.
all reviews » I am a huge fan of the Chinese styled architecture in Mingtown Etour. Love love love those cats in the hostel, love the ornate room and love the bar/cafe by the little fish pond. It's been a great experience living in Mingtown. The location is great (right in the middle of Shanghai), you can walk to so many places from there or take the tube so easily - the tube station is just under 10-min walk away!. Great location, clean rooms and really good value for money. Very close to exit 11 of People's Square subway station on West Nanjing road. Have stayed there before and would do it again- good when there are 2 couples travelling together as we had double rooms that shared a bathroom. The localisation was perfect, it's like a haven of peace in the middle of the big buildings, the staff is very nice and helpful. The room was small but clean. The food is good and not that expensive. Location- 3 minutes walk from people squere station staff is very friendly and helpfull dorm rooms are big and clean how water all the time in the shower great breakfast. Location. Staff esp Snow. Family room although can be improved. Free wifi. Food at the bar esp Spanish seafood fried rice. I will stay in this hostel again. Of course!!!. Food in the bar was delicious, with large portions. For cheap beer, grab a 6rmb Tsingtao from the fridge at reception. You can take these into the bar area too. The place is perfect! In the heart of the city, close to everything. The bar in the hostel is very nice, there u can find friends. Free wifi in the bar. The hostel is really nice, the staff was super kind and friendly. The common place is quite big with a restaurant in the middle. You feel like at home. the hotel was very nice with a spacious comun place, fridge, bar, sofas, kitchen, the room was good too, it was in the city centre. Location is really good. The sign outside of the hostel was something like "International hostelling"(???!) not its name "Mingtown" which was super confusing, I even thought I went into the wrong one. But if you got to Jiangyin Road, that should be the only youth hostel there (it's right behind the luxurious 5-star hotel). Well, the breakfast...was eatable. I would probably go out for something else next time while I stay in Mingtown Etour!. The bed was a bit too small and hard. The room was small but we had a balcony. No wifi in the rooms (3rd floor). Poor wifi in the room. Poor variation of tv channel. They dont have lockers in the dormitory. it was expensive because it has a shared bathroom and no breakfast but the hotesl are expensive in china. Small dorm rooms. Beds are really close to each other. for first time visitors came somewhat difficult to find clues about the location of the hotel and the hotel location. Nothing. Bear and drinks in bar are comparatively expensive. Poor WiFi and not great location. Internet is Terrible!and rooms are very small. no lift, heavy luggage has to be carried to the third floor. It was cold inside. wi-fi doesn't work in the room. it work well in the bar. you don't need to order if you don't like to anything all. although the room has heater, it was cold when I was sleeping. rest roon do not have the papers. you need to bring it.

Please provide your estimated time of arrival at the time of booking if you are arriving after 14:00 or you need to check-in/check-out at other times. Extra beds are available (cost varies). Please note that all guests should have passport or ID card at the time of check-in. Please note that hot water is only provided from 07:00 to 13:00 and from 17:00 to 24:00. Lockers can be requested at the front desk at an extra charge. Please note that guests can only book guestrooms for a maximum of 7 nights. Please note that guest should pre-pay full rate of the first night if will arrive late than 18:00. English Service is provided 7:00 to 01:00 (next day). All Children under 12 years old are not permitted in shared dorm accommodations. They must be with guardians in private accommodations. All teenagers under 18 years old must be accompanied by legal guardian. Please kindly notice at the reception if you need to bring a guest into your room. Please note that the hostel doesn't provide disposable toiletries. Please note that all the rooms are non-smoking rooms. If guests need cooking, ironing, using any high temperature devices and using any high power devices, please consult the reception first. Only some of the rooms can add an extra bed. Please inform the reception if you need one. Whether or not the extra bed needs to be added, each room only can stay one more person (adult or baby). The person taller than 110 cm treats as an adult, who needs to be charged the extra bed rate. The person shorter than 90 cm is free to stay. The extra bed rate is the same with the dorm bed room fee. Please note that the dorm bed (bunk beds) is only for individual. Unless you book a private room, there is no guarantee that you and your group will stay in same room. Please kindly return dorm linens and borrowed items to the reception before checking out. A mandatory CNY 100 returnable deposit for each room key is needed. Please note there is no elevator in the 3-floor building. Please note that payment is due upon arrival by cash only. Credit cards are not accepted.
