Hotel staff were attentive. Rooms were clean. I can say its the best and most respectable hotel in Guangzhou. Shopping malls nearby, good Italian and Turkish restaurants 10 mins away. Staff speaks English well. I have had bad experiences with other Guangzhou hotels where I had to use sign language even in 5 star hotels so English speaking was a blessing in Garden Hotel. Internet is good and available. Bus shuttle for 19 Yuan a person from the airport directly to the hotel.

The check in was good. The breakfast and breakfast area was very good . The facilities downstairs were very good and the garden was beautiful, The lobby is impressive with beautiful flowers. Very comfortable and big rooms. Too easy to reach there. Subway Taojin station's A exit opens to Garden Hotel. I have stayed at this hotel many times and keep going back because I like it. They upgraded me to a fantastic suite. The hotel has all the amenities needed. Overall was cool .. i liked it with my family. The convienence and friendly atomosphere. Reciption area ans spa area. Excellent location. Every thing. every thing. Everything. Location. Spacious clean room. Locations. Not good @ all bed not comfort Floor full of dirt. Only staff. Breakfast is mostly Chinese. Prices are too high during the Canton Fair, almost triple. If not for the price, I would have given it a perfect score. Language.. but again this is a problem of the whole Country. I was a little disappointed with my room , I thought it was very average and it could do with a makeover. It was not what i was expecting. Too difficult to find empty seats at the lobyy attractions. I think their rates and now, during Canton Fair times, are becoming absolutely rediculious. They are really starting to "rip off" regular visitors to the fairs and in time they will regret this. Breakfast is always too busy. Not enough closet space in the rooms and no dressers. Rooms facility not match with the price also the brakfast price mentioned at your sit was not the correct they demand 285 rmb. Pricing, lack of taxi cabs. We had done our booking thru letsbookhotel.com for 6 nights here. On arrival we were told no breakfast for the next day .. however from the day after for 4 days Breakfast included. Later we found that the Breakfast was for just one person & not two, inspite of our booking was Deluxe, 2 persons. So absurd.. Was told to write to letsbookhotel.com since the booking & confirmation details are sent by them to the hotel. Very Upset. However the hotel was good beside this discrepancy from lets. Waiting in a queue for having breakfast. The wifi signal poor. The room carpet was really dirty. The furniture over used. Communication no English speaker easily found. Too noisy, for business. I stay all the time there, had to ask for an upgradeAND I had to pay!!! Breakfast half wha tit used to be... Quality not so good any more.... You should market hotel at baby adoption hotel Guangzhou , as there were more children that adults most days.... Rooms noisy because of all children.... If hotel is going to accommodate for this type if travel then maybe you should have " children free floors " I was on business..... Not worth compeer to what I pay. This hotel look like a very old building. Service and facility is so pure. Only staff are try to be so good. I suggest to got to Crown Plaza or holidy inn which are much better operated than this hotel. Now value for maney and the room are like a store. Room,staff betu rude.
