Very nice place, pretty quaint, comfortable bed, great sized shower, friendly staff, very clean, huge balcony with nice chairs and a table, flat screen TVs, nice little kitchen that has everything you would need. Great (FREE) parking, storage for skis/snowboards, good location right on a chairlift. This would be a great place to stay in the winter for skiing/boarding, you can walk out the back of the hotel and be right on the mountain. There's a free shuttle that goes from the hotel to the Uppe.
all reviews » We had two rooms, both were excellent. The rooms were a good size with a good seating area and well equipped kitchen area, as well as the expected bed and bathroom. The small balcony was a nice addition. The room was clean and comfortable. Although well out of the village centre the free shuttle bus made the location inconsequential. We only stayed for one night but would have happily stayed for a week or more. The breakfast was a bit of a free for all but was more than adequate, and included . We loved our two night stays, the easy last minute booking. I am glad we upgraded to the one bedroom instead of the studio. The suite with the mountain view was very nice, we enjoyed the large balcony, the decor, the view and the comfortable furniture of the room. We both loved the daily breakfast and that we could have it comfortably in our suite. Access to the free shuttle from outside the hotel was an outstanding service. Enjoyed the peaceful quiet off the beaten path location and the shuttle service. Staff were very accommodating. Was able to enjoy an early check in at no extra cost which was very much appreciated. The complimentary breakfast is awesome. Loved the full size soaps and lotions. The continental breakfast was very appreciated and had lots of variety. I felt the non-dairy choices were good. We enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. Our room was well equipped to cook suppers. The free shuttle bus was fantastic and well used. I was there in the middle of September and it was in the mid-high 20's (Celsius) and it made the room hot and sweaty in the morning. Whistler gets REALLY hot in the middle of summer, so no A/C would make me go somewhere else if I was staying there again. It's a little far up from the Upper Village, they say it's only a 5 minute walk, but it took us 30 minutes to walk back up. Take the free bus/shuttle. The only negative was the rather high cost of the on site parking. Parking space was very small and it should have included in the room charge. The robes in the room were one size fits all, it would be nice to have some bigger sizes available. The $23 per day for parking and very narrow parking stalls. We parked on the street down the hill. It was an eight minute walk back to the hotel. If the hotel had an outdoor parking lot for up to $5 per day, that would be a reasonable charge. young kids not being supervised by parents - especially around the pool hot tub area - hot tubs are NOT for young kids. Internet was unreliable. The door screen of our room was broken and it took a while to have us moved and settled down in another room. No free parking available. A hot breakfast would be wonderful! Eggs, bacon, sausage, etc : ). Parking is $20 overnight. I didn't like that you need to pay extra 20 $ for parking.. Also the breakfast could be better. We were there in July and the lack of aircon in summer is a definite disadvantage. The location is perfect for the slopes but not so good for the town although there is a twice an hour free shuttle bus. - high parking fees with 23 CAD/day - breakfast negative: no seperate breakfast room, dirty, not a high quality of the food... feeling of a schools cafeteria. Our bathroom door didn't close. Inability to close light from all windows on sunny mornings trying to sleep in. Lack of air conditioning. But thankful for the fan. hot tubs not very hot. The breakfast buffet wasnt very good. Hidden additional charges, although dog friendly they do charge $25 a night and only 'clean' once at the end of a stay? You would have a job to stay at the hotel without paying the additional $23 a night car parking charge (all excluding taxes). 1.no conditioning system I wouldn't go during the summer time when is hot but fall, spring and winter ok 2. construction begins at 0715 am (lobby) in June 2013. The beds could have been a little softer. I like a firm mattress, but a pillow top would make it better.The couch was terible, the front edge was like sitting on a 2x4. having the high parking fee. screen door didn't latch- magnet worn- minor problem but it was a hot day. The breakfasts are a bit boring. Room was dusty. The cost of parking was absolutely disgusting at $23 per night plus tax !!!. hot no air con expensive parking. rooms look a bit dated Had some rowdy partiers wake us up at 3:30AM yelling down hallways, but management was quick to deal with them. We hope they can have drink for kids like hot chocolate, even instant powder. Pool/spa closed to early and did not get to enjoy it. Construction on site during the stay. No A/C, parking too expensive. parking fee 19 CAD a day, but you have no other choice. False fire alarm went off at 5.30am. We were on 6th floor and received no contact from desk. Fire plan may need to be reviewed as duty staff seemed at a loss as to what to do. No checking that people had evacuated rooms or were at evacuation point. Parking fee to high at $23 a day. to far away from town. long walk up back to rooms. The red light flashing intermittently through out the night was disturbing to me in the suite(the sensor)....and staff sounded as if to minimize this when I mentioned it.

Please note the indoor parking has a limit of 7 feet, or 2.1 m. There are no alternative over-height parking options at the hotel. Please note, at the moment of reservation an 8.05% Resort Fee is charged as a deposit at the time of booking and is 100% non-refundable. Coast Blackcomb Suites at Whistler is a pet friendly facility (dogs only). To cover additional cleaning required, an additional $25/night per pet will be charged during the stay. Maximum 2 pets allowed in each suite per reservation. In the event extra servicing to the room is required upon check-out, an additional housekeeping charge may be applied to the reservation. Pets are not to be left unattended in the guest suites. Only guests of the age 21 or older are allowed to check in, check out or stay at the accommodation without a parent or official guardian. Guests are required to present a valid photo ID and credit card bearing their name upon check in and check out. This individual must occupy the rental property the entire term of the reservation. Children 18 years and under stay for free when using existing bedding. May 18 – 20, 2018 (May Long Weekend): Only guests of the age 25 or older are allowed to check in, check out or stay at the accommodation without a parent or official guardian. No exceptions.
