The balconies on both floors faced an inlet with lots of trees full of wildlife, including eagles, crows, squirrels and a raccoon! Deck on front caught lots of sunshine and there was a huge bar-b-que which we used several times and a hottub which my son and I used twice daily. Full kitchen facilities meant we could eat in when we wanted to. Great location - not IN Ucluelet but close to it - near some gorgeous hiking trails and a lighthouse too.

We found it very relaxing to sit back and enjoy a soak in the hot tub conviently located on the front covered porch of our cabin. We found the price both reasonable and affordable. Overall a great place to stay, we would definitely rebook at Reef Point Cottages. Loved that the cabin was so clean, up to date, nicely decorated, easy to access, had everything and more for long term stay...great kitchen! The front desk girls were super friendly, the setting was great. The fully equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed & sofa bed for our 3-year old, spa bath, rear balcony, effective heating when required,good stock of coffee & tea bags. Everything was great, I was happily surprised at the facilities and the service. Cleanliness was top notch. A really great experience and I will certainly be returning. A wonderful place to visit. Great location. Feeling at home, away from home. Close to walking trails and Tofino, Long Beach. Really liked Ucluelet and the cottage was lovely- very clean and well equipped. Good location and very peaceful. The seclusion and privacy and the staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel has a very good location surrounded of trees, and you can hear the sea lions from your cabin. Clean and comfortable, well-equipped, rustic charm, location in woods, spa bath, friendly staff. Beautiful large cabin close to Pacific Rim np. Got upgraded to a larger cabin. Quiet,we'll equipped for basic cooking,friendly staff and neighbors. Cozy cottage,everything we needed.great walks and beach close by. It's a very modern looking cabin. When we arrived (1 hour prior to check in time) our cabin was ready and very clean. Overall it was very well stocked with lots of cutlery. The staff was always very friendly and accommodating. Loved Uclulet and Tofino. Self contained cabins had all we needed, but the 2 bedroom was a little cramped. We were able to bring our dog which was important to us. Nice feeling of a beach side cottage, lots of room for two people, great location and setting. Neat, tidy and comfortable room. Useful tea/coffee/sugar/salt/pepper supplies. BBQ. The cottage space and the full kitchen. I have had a great time. The privacy of having our own cabin and a hot tub. Cute and cozy!. Helpful staff. the loft room for kids. We paid $40 extra per night for our two grown children - I would have thought a cottage would have a base rate for 4 "people" - but it seems it has to be 2 adults and 2 YOUNG children - made it a little too expensive for our return with our grown children, which is a shame because we planned this as a family "retreat". They advertised wifi...and as soon as we arrived we were told that it acts up and how to fix it..we reconnected several times and it still only worked a total of about 3-5 mins the entire 3 days, Also, no hot tub as advertised. There was no coffee pot carafe, but I was able to make coffee in the teapot:). The hot tub is very noisy. We were put off beforehand by all the rules. No wifi in cabins. Cooker hood did not work. No hair dryer A little expensive. Nothing to dislike!. There could be a few more chairs in the bedrooms and unfortunately the building is not very noise proof. You can here every step everywhere in the house. The design of the kitchen was extremely hard to work with. our 30+ son was on the fold out bed and came bedtime we could not find a blanket or Doona for him. However when he left a message on phone, we were impressed by your response to get blanket to him and before midnight. ALSO the BBQ appeared to be very lacking in appearance of a decent grilling surface . Perhaps a recondition of this necessary extra might be a good idea. Wifi mentioned in advert but only available at office. Should be possible to have Wifi more widely available, eg 6 cabin cluster. Hot tub was too small, not very spa like. nothing. Bedsheets were not changed, Water was yellow/brown. Jetted tub did not work. No internet except at the Office. Wifi did not work, hot tub was old and the water had too much chlorine, and cottages were too close to each other so we could sleep due to noisy neighbors. the rain. some receptacles and lights did not work. parking spot in front of the cottage is too small. They promise wifi, but there isn't any. no electric hairdryer; wifi not available (in our cottage). no wifi in cabin. There was no view. The view from the hot tub was to the neighbors cabin. There was no waterfront view, the back of the cabin had a bit of a hornet's nest. when the staff came to check the hot tub it would have been nice to know ahead of time, as it was a bit strange to have someone just walk up to the hot tub as we were barbequeing. Advertised as having a hot tub, but neither cabin had one. The bbq in the 2 bedroom cabin was clean but the burners did not work. Fortunately we had rented 2 cabins and the bbq in the single roomed cabin worked perfectly. We had a few issues with some of the equipment in the cottage not working. Wifi is advertised but shouldn't be as it is very unreliable. Noisy whirlpool bath. Old fashioned TV/DVD Thin sheets. The housekeeper didn't remove the garbage in the bathroom. Queen size bed only and it wasn't terribly comfortable. Small television set too high up. Double bed mattress as hard as a slab of granite! Door opener difficult and jets in tub not functioning!. 1) No internet access in the cottage...had to go to the office to get access. 2) The cottage only had two windows that opened so it had poor ventilation and no AC. 3) Noisy refrigerator. very little cutlery, tiny coffee pot, spindle missing from staircase (choking and safety concern), moldy can of greese under bbq. Hot tub was average at best, the tv was so small and where it was located from bed you could barely see it. We would not reccommend Reef Point.
