  The staff was very friendly and helpful. The had great recommendations, was very detailed with directions/maps and also were fluent in English. While it's not the newest hotel (not luxury) the bed was very comfortable, the rooms large and the pool/hot tub very nice. The location was also wonderful. This is the big advantage if you have a Chinese stomach. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Via station, airport shuttle buses, old town, cruise terminal and lots of churches. Two queen beds room is very large.

  We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and both were excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed sitting out on the decks overlooking Lac Sable and later swimming there.(Beach access included in the price of the room) - Everything was really good! The food was excellent, the facility was not crowded.

  This was a great hotel. I was upgraded to one of the deluxe suites when I arrived. The hotel is quiet, well appointed and the staff were very helpful. I was even able to get a late check-out.   The staff were very helpful with any number of things; aiding with parking a vehicle, expediting check-in/check-out procedures, and recommending great restaurants and attractions in the area. The hotel lobby and common areas were very tastefully decorated and the rooms were comfortable, although a bit small and some areas seemed a bit dingy. The loc - We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).

  We have stayed at this chalet three times before. The location is perfect and the building is warm and inviting. There is a stream with waterfall nearby, a swimming pool, a lake with kayaks, and tennis courts.

  I enjoyed use of the hot tub, though the hot tub could have been on a warmer temperature. Interestingly, maybe you folks up in Quebec can handle cold better than heat, I just left it at that. - The staff was very friendly, and the English speaking staff were eager to help the French speaking staff while communicating with us.
