  After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   I liked the layout of the room. The room was clean. I liked the bed. It was just right - not too firm, not too soft. I liked that there wasn't an old bedspread on top. I liked the continental breakfast downstairs. I liked how clean the area was and the simple choices. The coffee was really good. The only front staff that was working at that time was extremely friendly and helpful. The 5:30 AM continental breakfast and courtesy shuttle to the airport were much appreciated.

  I like that it was centrally located and close to the hotel my where my fellow travelers were staying. Also I noticed it was on a city bus route plus taxis were located close by. We stayed overnight whilst taking the Via train from Prince George to Jasper. We could walk there from the station which was just as well as there were not taxis. Staff friendly, we arrived around 10.00 pm and were directed to a nice sports bar next door for something to eat and drink. It was the cheapest hotel of our trip.

  It was pet friendly, had a fridge, had lovely green space, and was a 5 minute drive from the US border and only about 5-10 minutes to the beach.   The management/staff was just amazing. We arrived early for check in and while our room wasnt officially ready they checked around and got us into a room that was ready. The motel is older and they are in the process of updating it. Our room was two beds and a kitchenette. We had no one above or below us, which was so nice because kids are not awe... what people say » some at being quiet. We were by the road but didnt hear any traffic all night. We didnt hear our neighbors either even though the motel was totally fu - The location was great.... close enough to the beach and city, but not as busy. We arrived late, after 10 pm and the staff waited for us and made sure we were settled in. There was a minor issue with the room, but Frank went out of his way to rectify it. Wonderful service and continental breakfast a bonus. Very comfortable stay and my young son enjoyed the pool and grounds. We plan to go back next year... Celenza Family
