All conveniences were provided including robes, coffee maker and a great pet Cockatoo that we fell in love with. A lovely home in a beautiful area and close to Calgary.

    Right from the minute we walked into the Georgetown Inn, we felt completely at ease and in awe of the homey décor.     The hotel staff were very friendly and provided a lot of information on the resort upon check-in. The two bedroom sweet was ideal for us and was extremely clean and the kitchen was equipted with all the essential appliances and accessories to cook just about any meal.     We enjoyed our stay very much. This hotel is pet friendly (with no size restriction - we have a 100 lbs dog) which is hard to find ($25 extra per night - standard rate for having a pet). Units are clean and fairly roomy. You can have up to 6 people for the same cost, which is great (2 bedroom townhouses so 2 people would have to use the pullout co... what people say » uch in this case). The units are fairly dated so if you're looking for new televisions, appliances, etc then this isn't for you. They have appliances - We happened to be stranded in the inn during the recent flooding in Alberta, roads leading to and from Harvie Heights were blocked and water supply to the lodge was cut. The manager Paul was so kind to provide us with bottled water and kept us informed of the situation of the floodings and the road conditions continously. When the road going into Canmore was finally reopened, he volunteered to look for us alternatibe accommodation with water supply. He even reduced the room rate to compens

    The location was excellent, only a short walk to the downtown area. The room was a standard 2 queen beds, 2 chairs and a table but it was bigger than a standard room. Very comfortable and there was even a tiny balcony.
