We were very satisfied with our stay at the Le Tour Belvedere. We had a one bedroom suite. The kitchen was equipted well. It saved us a lot of money to prepare our food for breakfast etc. We ate out one night in Old Montreal and it was excellent. We were able to invite relatives for Sat brunch and had quite a bit of room.. We felt like we were in our own apartment. The real find ai the Adonis grocery store around the corner. Wonderful prepared foods and great produce. A lot of middle eastern fo.
all reviews » The hotel is in prime location and really good for the price. the room was big, with nice wooden floor, the kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, utensils and cutleries. The staffs gave us 2 nights of free internet out of our 3 nights stay. They are very helpful and friendly. The room service is good as well. There are many supermarkets around, all within 1-5 mins walk. Metro station is just 5 mins walk. I’ll stay there again. -The friendliness of the staff. -The size of the rooms. -The convenience of the location. -The full kitchen with utensils (Family Suite). -The building was old, but clean. -The value - if you don't need to have everything brand new, this was a great deal. We want to go back, not only with our family, but our extended family and we will definitely be staying here. _we loved it!. It felt like a home away from home. I liked that we had a room on a high floor with a balcony and a pretty good view of downtown. The building was centrally located in the downtown area (after staying here I prefer the location of the Latin Quarter though). The building was clean, as was the room. The staff was friendly, and the value for the price was very good. Accommodation with a difference as apartments rather than hotel rooms are offered here. A suite consisting of a kitchen, bathroom and combined living room/bedroom was very good value at around £60.00 most nights. The local area has plenty of bars and restaurants for those too tired to venture into the Old Town in the evening. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Apples for guests on the counter, a nice touch. Luggage storage for a few days while away was extremely helpful. The cleaning staff very friendly. These apartments are top value in excellent location with a great laundry. the hotel is close to the metro station. The breakfast for 9$ was really very good with eggs, bacon, sausages, bread, toast, fruits, youghurt, juice, coffee, te, milk. very nice ladys cook other good tasted dishes. Apple at the reception. Parking for 16$ per day. employees are very kind. Great location only one block from subway and grocery store. Very clean, room serviced daily with helpful staff. Alexis Nihon shopping centre had a grocery store, pharmacy and restaurants to meet our needs. Courtesy and helpfulness of front desk staff who had to deal with a few ticklish situations (late night party in suite across the hall, fire alarm scare early Sunday morning). In all fairness the staff dealt with both situations in a firm and professional manner. -How very friendly and helpful the staff was. Even the chambermaid greeted us warmly and pleasantly. -The size of the room was excellent and it was clean and very quiet even very close to the elevators -The location suited our purposes well. The location wasn't as convenient to the vibrant neighborhoods (Latin Quarter, St. Catherine Street, Old Montreal) as I would have liked (my fault). The weren't very accommodating for an early check-in. Check-in was at 3:00 and I arrived at 1:30 and was told to come back at 3:00. Most places I've stayed will accommodate you if you arrive a bit early. Not situated near the tourist attractions but Atwater Metro Station is only ten minutes down the road. Nothing at all. WiFi is not free The hotel is a little old. Saturday night no onsite parking available but parking station close by. Decor not first class, but great for young kids and the price bracket. The kitchenette was old but serviceable. It was unclear from the description that breakfast was charged separately. Parking was also not on site. But on the weekends and after 5:30pm street parking is free. Very few if any decent restaurants in the immediate vicinity. -The building and our room looked 'tired' - in need of some upgrades and a facelift, e.g. room 1408 could use a new toilet seat - cracks in the plaster in the walls of the room could be sanded and repainted. No major overhaul but attention to the little things would have been appreciated. 1, Room condition - needs an upgrade. There were no pictures on the wall, no dead bolt on the door and two stove elements did not work. Bad stains on the living room ceiling too! 2. Elevator, one was shut down for service. Bed too close from the air conditioner - Bathroom (everything working!) but in need of repair (or refreshing) Glad I had not a car to park near by. Had a few problems with the room key-cards. On numerous occasions when swiping the key into the door, nothing would occur. This happened to both myself and my Mum (note: there was no "red light" signaling that the door was locked from the inside; I made sure of this). The staff downstairs were extremely helpful however, and re-programmed my card in a timely manner, which lessened the inconvenience. -Having to park on the street to unload/load luggage -NEVER being able to secure a park by 'asking in the morning', and so having to park car offsite. I really missed having a reading light on both sides of the bed so we could both read at night. Even just a small LED unit on the wall would be better than nothing. And the AC unit is very noisy - glad to have it though!. Well, I should have looked a bit further through all of the photos because ours was a dingy old room - not the beautiful modern room shown in the promotion. But it was clean and comfortable. It is definity an old apartment style hotel. But it suited our needs and we had a good stay. There was some old food in the freezer a broken beer bottle in the fridge and when I turned on the light switch in the kitchen the light bulbs exploded. Elevators were very slow. There was noise from the outside at 5:30am on 2 days, people drinking outside. I 'overheard' 2 different quotes for rates for the internet fee for the rooms. One was $15 per day, the other $5 per day. I read that the breakfast was included when I booked, and then was told it was not. We didn't love the breakfast and as there are so many options in the city I would opt for eating out. It's a three star hotel and that assessment is correct but still pricey....Quebec taxes...about 20 % of total ......is that normal?. Breakfast was a bit expensive but that would never prevent me from recommending your establishment for others to book. Pool is very tiny. Building is old and in need of maintenance. Kitchen has bare essentials; bring your own corkscrew. The bed was very hard so after 2 nights I had some back pain. I did not like how the room was not updated as the pictures of the ones on the website. I did not like how there was no parking and I had to go find my own. Nothing for one night . I didn't like being near the elevators and hearing the noise from their running all night long. It wasn't really loud but it was constant. Small swimming pool, but on par for what most hotels have. Our toilet made the sound that it was leaking 24/7. We were able to get used to it after spending 4 nights at the hotel, but would have liked to not hear that through the night. The HUGE difference in quality from the studio and one bedroom apartments. The standard should be equal in all rooms. The balcony doors stuck. The state of the building I understand its old and a little ruffly renovated with a few cracks and default but it did add to it a certain charm for the budget.... It would be nice if you had another elevator or two, but not a major issue. Nothing really comes to mind.. There are very few parking spots so we had to park around the corner. The elevators were extremely slow. The breakfast. Elevators. It does not have wi-fi included. no complaints. uncomfortable bad. The price for parking and Internet is steep. Five dollars per person a day is steep when most places are free now. Added to crazy Montreal tax, it's an extra 65 dollars to the cost. The gym room was not great. There isn't a variety of equipment and the equipment available is old. parking and wifi on top of the bill, only 2 elevators for 21 floor - sometimes they are busy and you to wait 2-3 mins if living on the top floors.
