hotel staff very friendly and smiling and very helpful ... as for people that complain about location of hotel it is worth mentioning that anyone can use tram no 9 to center , several station for 1 leva. Great staff and excellent food in the mehana.Very friendly staff who is always willing to help with a smile, Nicejacuzzi, Very nice lighting options in the room, Quiet and friendlyneighborhood. Although not very central, the location was close enoughfor me (I don't mind walking or taking a taxi for 3 Leva).

As we moved to other places we realised how rare this was as most Bulgarians were either miserable or rude, including those in service positions.The location was ideal for where I needed to be for business meeting but it was also very close to the centre of Sofia. The room was very clean and large. Close to city center if you use tram No 9 which costs only 0.70 Leva.Quiet location. Helpful friendly staff. Easy transport to city centre. general contitions was good. nothing special , nothing wrong, staff generally good. Good Location and facilities. quiet and helpfull staff. The room was lovely. Really nice bath and shower, nice and quiet location, and very clean. Bath. Not a central location, but we knew this when we booked. The breakfast was ok but too plain for my taste, and there was a smallleak whenever I drained the bath. But these things were minor comparedto my overall experience which was very good.I think that the breakfast was "not so plenty". I can't say it was poor. breakfast after 09.00. internet conection betuin 08.30-10.30 and 18.00-22.00. Very-very dirty rooms. central heating is off for the coold time in that perriod. The hotel said it was central in its advert, but it is not. We asked the receptionist how long it would take to walk to town and she said 15 minutes - but it takes an hour. The advert said there was a sauna, restaurant and bar, but all of these were shut. We couldn't get out of our room because they hadn't explained the complicated door-opening system, so had to use our mobiles to ring reception. At the beginning we had a small room so not the one we reserved. Roomwas booked for 3 nights (on internet) but at the hotel only one wasregistered... After one night we change room for the one we have bookedand we get discount for the first night.The staff changed the room I had reserved with a claustrophobic small one at the roof of the hotel. There wasn't permanent hot water, if u go late on breakfast u see only empty dishes...

"Teacher Ivan's House" restaurant was built and furnished in the style of an old Bulgarian tavern from the beginning of the 19-th century. Visitors find here the romantic spirit of bygone times, the cosiness and warmth of a big fireplace, and the pleasure of dining under vines of drooping grapes.
The restaurant's capacity is 80 seats indoors, and 40 seats in the summer terrace.
