  It was my first stay in Sofia and I booked this hotel because of the economic rate. They obviously gave me the biggest room available. The ladies at the reception are very friendly and helpful. You can book a kind of standard breakfast for 3 Euros. They even adjusted my breakfast according to my preferences.   I have alot of experience with travelling and different type of hotels, including very luxury. Sheraton Sofia Balkan Hotel justified my expectations as classic, shic, elegant hotel. We have stayed a short time in the building and unfortunately we didn't have time to look around (we have been especially interested in fitness ) but we have only comp... what people say » liments. - What was there not to like about this place? Staff were impeccable with a wealth of knowledge in several native tongues. The room was outstanding (Executive) great view in the old church, the bed was Devine and decor was classic yet modern. I love this place and will definitely be back.

  It is cheap for a stay in the central. Some Restaurants, Markets and Shops are about 2 minutes away by walking. You can reach the metro in 5 minutes - Hotel location was very good, only a few minutes from the center. The staff was helpful, but there was no city map available.
