This hotel is a gem,very clean and well maintained in a excellent location with only a few minutes stroll to the beach and beautiful sea gardens and also to the central pedestrian area with shops, bars and cafes. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always greeted us with a smile. As we had a late flight our check out time was extended to 3.30 for 30 lev extra which was very reasonable. We'll have no problem staying here again on our next visit.
all reviews » The location is ideal:it is very close to bus station and railway station. Plus, it is located within very short walking distance to the central beach. The room was light and spacious enough. o hItalian restaurant with the same name Luxor was good and convenient. Wifi connection in the was good. Clean, comfortable, and we though it was good value for money. Very close to Burgas town centre and Burgas park/beach. No hotel parking, although metered parking nearby at 1 lv per hour. No charge between 6pm and 8am Monday - Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. I have stayed at the Luxor for the last 8 years and always found it very convenient for the bus and train station in Bourgas. Very helpful and clean. The facilities are good and internet using a cable is excellent. Pizza oven makes great pizzas too,. The restaurant is great, allthough getting good cafe latte was like flipping a coin. Reception staff was helpfull and spoke english very well. Hotel was situated near city center and the Sea Park :-). Nice large room and bathroom. Within walking distance from city center. Bus stop from/to the airport. Oficially 3 star hotel - in fact more likely 4 star hotel. very comfortable bed, the best power shower in my life. I booked this hotel as disabled friendly which it definatley is not I had to move after 1 night ramps are not designed to go up and down with wheelchairs and inside there are stairs to dining room ect. definatley not for disabled people I could not even believe you thought it was. In a convenient location for me. Rooms were clean. value vs price. No complaints at all. Nothing to be complained about. However, it would be good to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. The TV seemed to be stuck on a tedious music channel. We have booked a non smoker suite, but the air conditioning was circulating cigarette smoke around the entire hotel and into our room. Fortunately it was not to hot or cold, but I we can imagine how horrible it would be in the winter or in the summer, where you have to use the aircon. There are no breakfast buffet, guest have to chose a single thing from a menu card. I do not recommend to book in advance the breakfast, but try it the first morning and then decide whether you want it for the rest of your stay. It is not a buffet breakfast. floppy pillow!. Internal decor is a but dated but adequate. Does not seem to be norm in Bulgarian Hotels, but tea and coffee making facilities would be a real plus. No swimming pool. slow restaurant service. breakfast time starts to late in the morning. as opposite. Mixup only booked for one day instead of two. Staff not customer related. Reception staff not prepared to be polite. They have few types of breakfast, and after you choose one of them, you need to wait 15-20 mins for them to bring the breakfast...so if you are a businessman like me, then you have a problem....you ll have to leave hotel wihtout breakfast or you have to go to breakfast 30 mins before you planned....if not you ll be late to your meetings....You have to inform then again 20 mins, before you get your car, because they have to park the cars one behind the other..... no parking places! you must pay every hour with SMS!. Not friendly personnel.
