  The rooms are kind of Travelodge style with plenty of storage space. The beds are comfortable but the pillows are not particularly so. Breakfast is continental and absolutely superb - I have never had better. It is possible to stay for dinner if you make sure you book in advance. At 14 Euros it is good value but there is no choice - soup (home mad... what people say » e and, although I am not a great soup-lover, superb), a main course and a dessert. Our mains were rabbit with prunes, fish and pork respectively. It w - The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the room was big but no air con - it was quite hot, July, couldn't have the windows open because of mosquitoes. Pillows definitely need replacing - very lumpy! Bed was firm but we like firm. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, all the usual continental breakfast stuffs. The dinner was superb for the price Eu14 for 3 courses, obviously all home made, simple and delicious. Set menu, everyone ate at the same time - rather like a wedding! Large grassed

  Only staying one night makes it difficult to comment on the staff as we only had contact with the reception staff. They were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel looked so beautiful for Christmas. Beautiful flower arrangements, the largest indoor Christmas trees I have ever seen and beautifully decorated. The beds were large and very comfortab - Polite and very good mannered staff from check in to bar service. Couldn't fault them on customer service. Also good proximity of hotel to town centre, 5km: we drove to hotel, checked in, left car there and took taxi to town. Cost €20, a special deal the hotel has with a local taxi firm. Would have cost more to stay in a hotel in the town centre where parking is also quite expensive. All in all, it was a choice we made not just for the money saving side of it but mainly because we had come to
