  Jayne's friendly and unintrusive demeanour was a breath of fresh air when compared to most B & B's. She was also wonderfully accommodating. The rooms were beautifully furnished, clean and homely. And the breakfast was ideal. - nice staff, the room was very nice and clear. good breakfast.

  This is a great place to stay -- location, hosts, room and bath, service. I can recommend this BandB without reservation. The photos do not do the rooms justice. The guest house is beautifully situated in, we discovered, probably the nicest part of Bruges. The house, our room, and the garden were all to a very high standard of comfort and decoration; the breakfast was excellent, with as much as anyone could possibly want. This is one of the very best places we have ever stayed at.

  The hotel is beautiful. It is great to stay in a place that belonged to a famous artist - Samuel Coucke - and was restored with such love and care. You should definately ask about the history of this house - it is very interesting. The right place to stay in Brugge to fill the air of the city. There are 2 partkings near to the hotel ('T Zand parking cost less than 9 Euro per day - a very reasonable price in - The room was very large and lovely with a four poster bed and living room area. The bathroom was large and very up-to-date with an amazing stained glass window that had been made long ago at this very house. Staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. The fresh breakfast was wonderful and all this was within a 10 minute walk to the main plaza. We wish we had booked more than one night and plan to go back the next time we're in Europe.
