Central and easy to find. Friendly staff. Localization. Hotel Staff. very cheap. The daytime staff seemed friendly and helpful. location, however, also partially - the small backstreet is not too pleasant for walking there later in the evening. near a bell tower which played crazy bell music ALL night !!. Mirror lacking in my room. The breakfasts were just basic, however I believe this a general problem, i.e. not specific to this hotel, with 'continental breakfasts'. I stayed in early April and it was OK, but most rooms are likely to be too hot in summer since they only have windows facing a sort of inner courtyard, which is covered by a glass roof!. lack of hot water for the shower. they charge 20Euro for internet. It's at the level of a youth hostel, not really a hotel. Neighbourhood. Entrance to hotel is from a small lane behind shops. It was a little intimidating - hard to know for a foreigner if it is safe - but turned out to be fine. Hotel is very old and is being refurbished rather clumsily. Has a potential of being much nicer.
No lift but staff offered to carry suitcase upstairs.
Telephone not working, no remote for the TV (very small screen).
No Wi-Fi- of course!. There were used food cartons in my wardrobe (smelled of garlic and olive oil), and the general cleaning was a bit poor. Sticky surfaces on drawer units and floor suggest cleaning is restricted to bed changing (very clean) and shower area (very clean and nice).Hot water, on sunday it was desactivated. The cleanliness of the hotel. only one towel for two people, not even changed for a new one every day. not sure why it's called hotel, whilst it clearly is a hostel. The nighttime staff were very unhelpful and unwelcoming. The rooms were of a very low standard, particularly in terms of cleanliness. Some of them smelt really bad.dark dinghy and scary. the worst place I have ever been staying in!. The number of tovels was insufficient. The toillet leaked with dirty water. No hotel invoice when checking out.
