The personnel was friendly from the moment I arrived early to check-in until I checked out with just passiv my card over. Unlike many in Bruxelles, the offered up front to handle my luggage and even took the coat. The room was spacious, the bathroom larger and better than the 5 star hotels I have stayed at. I did not try the breakfast, but the lounge, where it was served looked great. Another plus: really good wifi included - you just get the code with the room keycard. Overall one of the best .
all reviews » Friendly staff, a parking garage near the hotel for 15 euro's a day, wifi, the room was nice and clean, very close to metro station Botanique, a supermarket (Carrefour) next to the hotel. We didn't ate breakfast at the hotel, but bought some orange juice and croissants in the supermarket and ate them on a bench in the park next to Botanique. The value of money.. What you pay is more than value.. The room is big, the bed are most comfortable. Design of the room is very good, the bathroom spacious.. near tram station"gallon".. And down of the hotel is Carrefour express which is you can buy anything you need. the shop and restaurant are just like a few step from the hotel.. We spent in this hotel a weekend and it was OK. Hotel in good location, near Gare du Nord and 10 minutes walk to the Grand Place. Personnel is helpful, nice, cosy room with very comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Strongly recommend whatever you are in a business trip or just travel. For me best value for such price. Room was quite OK. If you come by car, near the hotel there is a underground car park with restricted access (only with a ticket), which is a necessity in Brussels due to high car crime rate. If you do not have breakfast included, next to the hotel there is a carefour express shop. Excellent beds and pillows. Easy walk to metro or downtown. Clean and simple rooms. Good amount of privacy. Supermarket downstairs. I found that you can't beat the value at this hotel. I stayed in a couple other hotels in Brussels that were more expensive and not nearly as nice. It was conveniently located by the train stop. The staff was friendly, especially Ari, he was very helpful. It was very clean & comfortable. I like that it was located next to a small store. Good place to grab something to eat on the go. I would recommend it to others. Room is excellent, beautiful interior, lovely furniture and very comfortable bed. There is a lot of traffic in the area, so if you are very sensitive to noise, it might be a problem. I consider myself medium sensitive and I was sleeping like a baby :). The room for me is on 5th floor, there is no wifi in the room, so I just ask the reception if I can change the room, she tried many times and at last she gave me a large room on 3rd floor. The location is alright for Bruxelles, but there are some streets between the North St. and the hotel that I would not walk at night. The hotel is located in a busy street, so at night you can experience some noise from the street. just a matter of corridor when you go to you room, quite small and dark.. The neighbourhood of the Hotel is known as the district of illegal immigrants (mostly from Africa) and the crime rate (esp. car crimes like braking into the cars) is very high. When we were going to the hotel on our eyes two men were braking a window of a parked car. If you are a girl, it is better for you to be accompanied by somebody in this district. I would have eaten breakfast if it was a little cheaper. It was located next to a not so friendly neighborhood. No fault of the hotel's though. I just wouldn't walk around alone at night. I little noisy outside the window. Because of many cars I think. But that' s fine. small reception area. The location wasn't ideal. It was close to the Royal Palace but it was in a neighborhood that didn't have a very friendly feel to it. Nothing. Everything was perfect. Nothing. I don't see any bad points. the neighbourhood at night. The hotel itself is right on the border of Brussels' unofficial red-light district. We walked from Gare du Nord train station to our hotel during the day, but if we had done that at night, I'm 100% sure we would have been mugged. But once you get to the hotel, it's a block away from a Metro stop, and in that direction, it's much nicer. The noises from the street at night. None. Double room and bath are small, almost for one person. It is very noisy, windows shall remain closed during night. For the price nothing. The room was not large. Irritated some buzz in the wall. Rooms don't have outgoing PSTN line. Close to the red-light district which makes for an uncomfortable walk back from the train station late at night. A bit noisy but not a great deal due to traffic on the main road, price could be slightly less. -A bit of noise from the streets. -. Hotel itself is in ok area but close to the more seedy red light district of Brussels north station. Probably not so good for tourists. Nothing, Not as such. Only think , the Windows are not double vitrage...so you heard some noisy you have to ask the room in the back for the calme.. Price of breakfast (15 €) is a bit higher than expected. Not the nicest area of Brussels but it did not matter much as it's only 2-3mins walk from the metro/tram/bus!. we lived on the last floor, may be this was a riason in bad connection with wi-fi. The air conditioning did not work for a day due to some technical problem. They had got it repaired after tha it was superb. No tea/coffe facilities in room but could obtain them from breakfast room. Receptionist didn't seem friendly but was helpful when asked questions. its a boutique hotel but nothing really bad about the hotel Looks can be deceiving. No dislikes. Not sure if booking price is cheap, the staff arrange a room at the roof, which is strange in shape and a bit hot in day time. Receptionist was not so friendly.
