The room was very spacious, nicely decorated. The flat was very close to a strip of restaurants (on Franklin Street), a park area and tourist attractions. - the staff responded to any of my needs - enough space in the room - the positioning in the city centre - wifi worked well - warm enough during the night. Close to center, equiped with all its needed for a family stay.

I was also impressed to receive by e-mail instructions (that worked) on how to locate the key to the apartment in case of late arrivial. Full kitchen access and efficiency of check-in check-out.It is exactly what is expected to be. Very quiet and silent place. Should you need anything, there is no staff at the premises.The bed had seen better days. Wirelless was not working all the time.The calcelalation policy (15 days before arrival) and very late information about possible changes due to overbooking (proposal to change hotel only 3 days before arrival). no lift, broken chair. The squeecing floors. third floor, no lift. No Brussels maps. Not much staff. it got cold and the heating did not seem to be doing the job it should have. Below average maintanance; light bulbs etc. It was not clear that I would have to pay in cash; I thought that there would be charge at CC. No tea just the kettle.Wifi was almost always dying (sometimes completely absent, and it wasvery weak even when there was any). Broken tv (but we make it works :-)) and no room cleaning service. The floor could be swept more often and more accurately. The bed is very old with a big whole in the bed. The bed has a broken wooden pannel which makes the bed out of shape and not good to sleep in - the floor would have been better!. There is no lift, the hotel is very old fashioned, no microwave in the kitchen, no shampoo. I did not like the smell in the room which came from the sewage in the bathroom.1.The TV set was not functioning at all! 2. Although it was supposed to be a non smoker's room, the smell of smoke was very evident in the toilet. The reception opens quite late and closes very early. There is no lift therefore it's very difficult to walk up and down the narrow stairs with one's baggage. The hotel was rather dirty.I stayed at the flat on November 12 (television worked), November 13(television did not work), and November 14 (television did notwork). Without being able to access the bbc news or any other newschannel or any entertainment channel, I felt quite disconnected andrather isolated. not clean enough,. construction next to the apartments so it was really noisy and smelly, old rooms, really need renovation, arrived at 6 pm so couldnt find anybody and had to call by phone. There was only one key available for the appartment. The reception was opened only work-days in the mornings. There were no instructions given before the arrival how to get the key from the reception.The interior was dated and worn out. One light in the bathroom wasbroken, and so was one armchair. The kitchen closets need to bereplaced, or thoroughly cleaned. I was several times in the same hotel, but on this occasion the room was in another building and seemed of lower quality to me. Especially not cleaned with the same attention as otherwise usual.Though the apartment was clean, it was very minimal, with a very uncomfortable bed and pillows (hardly more than 2 inches thick), poorly equipped kitchen, etc. The room was cleaned only once a week. Staff were very slow to respond to requests. no breakfast. wi fi didnt work. Parquet flooring was poor, with holes and creaky and squeaky. Bed was very old and wobbly, and rickety.I think that a 4 stars hotel should have blanket without holes...(room 61) It was also noisy due to thelocation of the room.... Very poor in details: dirty curtains and windows, broken tiles in bathroom, filthy fridge, heating can't be turned off. Kitchen in appalling state, bits not working/broken off. Wifi only works in some rooms. OK for 50 Eur, but not 120 Eur, Will never stay here again until major improvements. (I spend 30+ weeks in Brussels hotels for work). there is no sign, there is any hotel on the street, difficult to find, nobody there, you have to call somebody by phone if any, no free internet access in building Rue Veronese 87; feel little alone in these buildings. This is not a hotel but individual flats. OK if that's what you want, but with reception closed, a flat across the road and no hotel facities, it was not what I was lead to believe I was booking from the website. It was filthy dirty with a dreadful damp smell. The dust off the mattress was unbearable . I checked out early eventhough I had paid.
