the room was great, clean and comfy. the breakfast facility was ok but it would have been easier to use if there had been sombody about to help, having said that it was nice and there was plenty available. its location to in bruge meant it was easy to get about especially for the conference centre. it was a 10-15min walk from the main square but the streets are well lit and it always felt safe.

Staff recommended some fantastic bars and restaurants and gave us a map.The hotel was in a good possition,very easy to walk everwhere.We had athree day deal with breakfast which was very good set us up for the day. Very friendly folks and the room was very clean and modern. Parking was snug in a mid-sized SUV, but we managed. Definately reserve parking!. Helpful staff, very clean and attractive room. It would be nice to have a flat screen TV in the room and a mini bar. But these two are minor remarks as the hotel is great and Bruges is great too! Dont forget your umbrella, though.Make sure and request one of the newer rooms of the hotel as it was newly extended. Parking near the hotel: well it is Brugge.But we're not far from the ring you can park outside the city center.The breakfast could be a lot better with just a few minor improvementsE.G. proper fruit juice and better coffee. My car had a roof box on it so I couldn't use the parking facilities but I soon found a garage with the directions given from the girl on the desk. The car park is a little tight on parking space. Damage to cars isinevitable from concrete supports. Especially for 15 euros per night.. Internet is very slow and some ports are closed - I was not able call Scype, VoIP, PPTP VPN). the dimmer light switches were difficult to operate properly and after a few times I just found them annoying. Poor supply of early morning tea making. Shortage of tea bags, milk etc.Tea/coffee in room not replenished foc. Some building/refurbishing in progress. Bad smell in lobby. Car park very tight. there is a smell of moisture in many buildings in Brugge, or maybe it comes from the bad draining system of the town. That smell is not strong in the hotel but it's the only negative I found and it would be great if they could eliminate it. Renovation noise from 8am monday morning from room above.
