What people say
A marvelous location everything is just few minutes. Even the Danube is
just a walking distance, the room is clean and building is very elegant.
Beside the what is mentioned in the website, Travel time Vienna &
Ankaruhr is also nearby We found beautiful flowers waiting for us . We
were told that cleaning once a week is included in the price and
actually it was cleaned twice.
The location is really good, 5 minutes walk from trian station and just

Very very good location, clean and silent. There is a small but
Functional kitchen.
Perfect location and atmosphere.
Location was fantastic- three houses away from Mozarthaus and five
houses away from the Stephansplatz - the epicenter of Vienna's
Innere Stadt. Every thing available within short walking distance.
Central location close to many historical sites. Close to buses and subway.

The location was nice for a variety of activities.
Not really bad remarks, just a couple of points to consider:
1) The elevator is in between the floors, so few steps is not avoidable so take care if you have baby carriage, heavy bags or elder people accompanying you , for us it was not a problem
2) As we were staying for 10 nights, a washing machine would have been a plus.
Difficult to find the room in hotel. On the key there is a number 2, but
the room number is 11. No staff there, we tried to call them, but nobody
answered the phone. We asked staff in a restaurant nearby to whom the
hotel staff left the key, they didn't know how to find the room in
hotel either. We had to try 2 keys to each door in hotel.

- Location wrongly mentioned in google map. It is above Da capo
restaurant opposite Porterhouse steak house.
- the so called electric stove was totally ineffectual. takes ten mins to heat up any utensil, that too just luke warm. If you plan to do any cooking here, forget it. Good for only microwavable food, toasted bread and electric kettle for tea/coffee.
- toilet very small and has no exhaust, so can be a smelly affair.
If we opened our windows the smell of fish was strong, this came from the restaurants below. No A.C in room. Otherwise we had a good time.

Poorly equipped ie fridge door broken, kettle almost. Unusable, tv didn't work. Generally looked in need of a little attention.
My husband and I had one room, our friends had another room. My room had dirty bedding, stained furniture, and extremely uncomfortable beds. our friend's room was very bad. it was not only very small, but very dirty, from the floors, to the fan blades, to the grungy coffee maker. After waiting for our exciting vacation, we were extremely disappointed with downtown studios.
