The hotel is located in the old town centre, just a 5-minute walk from the Hofburg Imperial Palace and main museums. It is a comfortable hotel with old traditions, polite staff and great restaurant. Perfect location, beautiful rooms, kind staff. No single rooms, so I stayed in a large double room with French windows and terrace, which was almost too luxurious for me!. The staff was very helpful and the accomodations were excellent for theprice. We also enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was in the middleof all that we wanted to do. all reviews »
This hotel was a real surprise. I selected it solely on the basis of offering quad accommodation. The room we were given was spacious and comfortable; the location of the hotel is right where we would have wanted to be - right in the heart of the historic area. This was great!! Definitely recommended for families.Wonderful location in the old town; the owners/staff were very helpfulwith all aspects of our stay. Breakfast was much better than expected;wide selection, nice hot coffee. Large triple room was great, as we hadour 17 yo daughter with us. Great Austrian decor, we were very happywith this choice of hotel. This is a great hotel. Located at the best part of the historical city, it combines location with comfort and tradation. The staff were very hepful and polite and made the whole expereince very homely for us.Large well appointed rooms in the centre of Innsbruck. Good restaurant. To visit for the city tour.Very friendly family hotel. We arrived early and were allowed to secure our suitcases and have our room available about 1/2 hour after arrival. We loved the location, the hotel was beautiful. Breakfast was adequate but the staff person during breakfast seemed ticked off when we asked to bring a cup of coffee to our room and getting a cup of ice from the diningroom seemed to be a hassle for them as well. good restaurant. location in the city center. Excellent local cuisine and friendly, helpful staff, including the owner. Very central location, quiet. the cuisine!!!!. The room where nice furnished. the position. No lifts.We have stayed at this hotel many times, the main thing to watch is that you should notify them of your time of arrival since the reception is not manned continuously particularly on Sundays after 11.00hrs. There was no air condition, otherwise very good location and kind staff.nowhere to sit, other than room, no lounge. Rooms a bit basic. Too many hunting pictures.Jersey bed sheets. The bed is too short, (am only 180cm long). Toilet chair in the room should be changed.toilet/shower very cramped.

Information about the area
Around the corner you will find the "Golden Roof" (Goldenes Dachl), the city tower, the DOM, as well as the "Hofkirche" and the "Hofburg". The convention centre and the theatre can be reached within a few minutes. Just a few steps away is the main street "Maria-Theresien-Straße, the "Rathausgalerie" (shopping galleria) as well as a number of other shops in the area.
Between 07:00. and 10:30 driving is allowed in the historical area.
Travelling information
Our hotel is located in the centre of the old town/historical area (pedestrian zone).
By Car:
- Please take the exit INnsbruck west from the highway A12.
- After the second traffic lights please turn left and at the next set of traffic lights turn to the right, then straight to the "Innrain" road.
- After there are two small sets of traffic lights and at the next larger crossing you pass a petrol station on your left hand side.
- At the third traffic lights, on the right hand side, you can find the TouristLoading zone, check in point - Hotels Old town. Here you can stop and unload for a few minutes and bring your luggage to us just a few steps away, via the Seilergasse and then right into the Kiebachgasse.
From the train station to the old city is 10 to 15 minutes walk or you can arrive by taxi.
