right on top of darling harbour where you could find many places to eat plus only a short walk to town hall station and buses it was good to have a washing machine and tumble dryer to use as we had been on a cruise for 3 weeks prior to arriving in sydney and needed to do some washing. Easy access from freeway, close to everything, good view, quite although in the centre of Sydney, clean with everthing you need to spend a ew days or weeks. Carparking availability. Have already recommended the Adina to many of my friends & work collegues.
all reviews » The apartment was spacious and well equipped. I particularly liked the washer and dryer facility. Being able to walk easily to Circular Quay was great. Staff very helpful and polite. I will be recommending the hotel. it was so close to darling harbour and other venues we were visiting. it was larger than your average motel room. the court yard and restaurant facilities - all very convenient. would stay there again. For the first 2 days I was given a $20 voucher that allowed me to choose only 4 items from the menu and was a bit of a rip-off. On my third day I chose what I wanted and charged back to my room account. I recommend everyone does this and the voucher system be scrapped. Swimming pool was very cold even in February. It's under cover of the hotel overhang and so unable to be heated by by the sun. It needs to be heated. The pool, sauna and gym facilities were pretty average. Pool was freezing!. We had an issue in our room (air conditioning wasn't working) but I negotiated with reception to take off my parking fee to compensate. "Light" housekeeping a bit too light Fittings in the bathroom coming off the wall and basin No plunger for coffee making. Nothing. Hard bed Small bath. no sink plugs, didn't notice until 2nd day there. room service quite late and very minimal, bed not made very well. had to ask for white sugar as none provided. a replacement milk would have been nice. apartment door closers very noisy and door's not very soundproof so we were disturbed frequently during the night. To prepay $20 for a very poor quality breakfast in a 4+star hotel is disappointing. I had the fried egg choice and the bacon, sausage and hash browns were almost cold and did not appear to have been freshly prepared. Also to have to choose between juice or coffee/tea is unacceptable. Both should be included. I travel regularly both nationally and internationally and that would be the worst breakfast I have had at any hotel. Delayed checkin, but made up for it with a better room and bottle of wine. Noisy on the city side of the hotel. Would book Darling Harbour side next time. Bit of a crappy location, but not their fault. Not near any supermarkets, plenty of convenience stores. The staff could be a bit more friendly and helpful. No free wi-fi in the hotel or nearby areas. The hotel provides computer with internet access by depositing coins every after so many minutes. It's a rip off because the internet was super slow.Ibis hotel nearby has free internet access. Get ready for the expensive food anywhere around the harbour. Did not like the bathroom in the position it was in. 1st floor room no 15. Cold pool Dead leaves on palm trees in courtyard!. No Shower Cap and that Housekeeping never replaced the Shower gels each day, nor cleaned the window. Not much, parking could be a problem as there are limited spaces not mentioned on your web site. initially the outlook - am used to living with curtains wide open but was too exposed to the next door building so shut them and left them that way. Had I been home in the day I would not have like this at all. Hotel only offered 30 mins free wifi per day, which had to be accessed in the reception area. Any extra time would have been costly. Nowadays most hotels/motels provide unlimited wifi access in your room free of charge. Nothing I did not like. Thought we had booked an appartment with laundry facilities. There was no where to do laundry, nearby. First room offered was quite small and without the harbour view. Nothing really. Having to pay to print out boarding passes. Order wasn't fulfill but was responded positively very quickly. No plug for bath. room a little small but very comfortable and clean. All good.
