  The town and shops were clean and very well presented. There were a lot of trees around which gave it a lovely atmosphere. The people were friendly and I felt quite safe there.   Clean , comfortable, amazing view, friendly staff. Strahan was one of my favourite places in Tasmania. The people were so freindly. I did a four hour Harley Tour with Big Al and got to see so many lovely places that I would like to revisit. Had I only done teh Gordon River Boat tour and the Wilderness Railway I would have felt I had done all there... what people say » is to do in Strahan, but the bike ride showed me so much more. We will definately be back and look forward to staying at Strahan Village again. - The room was comfortable, though rather dated. As we looked out onto the carpark we took advantage of the Hilltop lounge area. On the first night the bar was open, the fire stoked and we enjoyed a drink while watching the light fade and the lights come on in the harbor. On the second night, no bar, no fire, no staff, but the view more than made up for it.

  It was close to all amenities, all within walking distance. Wendy in the office was friendly and efficient. Good restaurant across the road. It was generally quiet and very comfortable - A wonderful place. Megs and particularly Wendy go out of their way to help you. The accommodation was beautifully maintained.

  The house was fantastic, it felt like a welcoming home to return to thanks to the people who run the place. there was not a problem i could have that "JULIE" couldn't help solve, (Yep even car repairs, thanks Michael). Close to Risby Cove restaurants and a comfortable walk into Strahan. Very relaxing, we would recommend it to those who like to indulge in Tasmanian hospitality. Plenty to do while in the area too.

  The staff were very friendly and really helpful when I became sick. The units were good in that you could self cater and we were upgraded at no extra cost to give us more room because we had booked 3 nights. The laundry facilities we much cheaper to use than other places we had stayed. Over all a little dated but very comfortable, clean & tidy... what people say » with great staff which makes up for that. - I loved the friendly service, Pam is a perfect host! Everything was immaculately clean and comfortable and the fully equipped kitchen and big TV were excellent.

  The rooms were clean, offered good value for money and had everything that I needed. I don't use WiFi, I have plenty of data to check email etc from my phone, however due to the remoteness of the West Coast I had low signal at times, however this had nothing to do with staying at the Villas.   This was by far the best motel we stayed at in Tasmania. Friendly staff, comfoitable room with all necessary facilities, quiet, reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others - Comfortable, clean hotel with some nice extras such as a spa bath and a continental breakfast basket.   Ormiston House is a beautiful home which Carolyn and Mike have completely renovated, obviously with a great deal of love. Had cuppa and freshly made muffins on arrival and each time we came back from an activity. Breakfasts were great. my husband fell in love with the local leather-wood honey.
