  We came as a group and booked both the "mansion" and the "coach house". Both were amazing - old houses on whose land I guess the other motel-like units were built. Overlooking the river and with lawns all round, a barbeque down by the river. Sure the houses were old, but still in good repair. Had a great time! - The staff and restaurant and restaurant staff were fantastically friendly and helpful. And the food especially at the restaurant - we had dinner - was some of the most delicious my partner and I ever tasted. And the view of the Derwent river was also brilliant. The ducks came right up to our back door and we could feed them. It was so peaceful and adorable.

  The apartment had everything necessary for our stay in Hobart. it was spacious and comfortable, in a good position for walking around the Harbour and Central city areas. The staff were very helpful and polite, Convenient guest lounge through the day supplied good coffee. Breakfast was nothing special, but there are many excellent small restaurants... what people say » open around the harbour. Would recommend highly,and would stay there again. - A delightful city, Great Art Gallery's and Museums. Great food, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. We booked an apartment at the Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel because (a) it was very central to everything, (b) because we grew up on Vic. sheep properties in the 1940-60s and farmed sheep with Tasmanian bloodlines for wool ourselves and (c) because letsbookhotel.com offered great book-ahead specials.

  The staff were friendly, welcoming and took time to ensure we had all that we needed. They also gave us directions of where to find places and information about restaurants that were open on the public holiday. The room and ensuite were spotless. It was bright and had a good view. It was central to all of the Golf Courses and was in close proximity of eateries, bars, shops and transport. The facilities(pool, spa and sauna) were also an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean and modern and more than adequate in size and facilities.

  The feeling of relaxation you get in the cabin was astounding, could almost feel the stress leave my body. The cabin was warm on arrival and right through the night (2 degrees and below external night temps!) The kitchenette and bathroom facilities were great. Its on the same road and close by the major attractions. We saw wild wombats and would high - We had a premium room and we LOVED our stay! The spa is awesome, the gas fireplace makes makes the place really cosy, access to the beautiful Cradle Mountain national park was very easy, the cabin was very clean comfortable and cosy and the barhroom was huge. The location in the middle of the wilderness is great as we got to see heaps of wallabies and wombats running freely!

  The hot water in the shower was really hot and the pressure was good too. I could open the window to get some fresh air. I didn't realise the staff had openned it as the curtains were drawn. We only knew that it was cold and we needed extra blankets from the cupboard. I like the choice of fresh air or not. It is rare to find an - We arrived very late due to airline delays but the young man on reception was most helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had a compact/budget room that was far better than I expected (having read some negative reviews) and it really was great value for money. Didn't have a car so no need to worry about the carpark. We had no noise issues and had amazing views. Very clean, very comfy beds/pillows, great location as it was just a short walk to the CBD and Salamanca.

  It was really central to the town and the parking was $6 which is very unusual for hotel parking. We arrived early and were able to get into our room which is always good when you have travelled a distance. - Great hotel, very central location and we could walk everywhere. The views from our bungalow were spectacular. The room was beautifully furnished and appointed. Every surface was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The restaurant made a fabulous breakfast buffet for a very good price and the staff could not have been more helpful. They even provided lemons and honey for my wife who caught a cold.
