The breakfast was included in the cost and was absolutely superb. The breakfast staff were awesome. The rooms were clean and large with Foxtel. Great room service on Sunday morning after midnight one of the best steak sandwiches I have ever eaten. The conceirge staff were extremely helpful especially when getting taxis' on the Saturday night. On request we were given a balcony so you could smoke outside your room. 10 out of 10.
all reviews » Allways a good stay in the Hyatt Perth, a well run hotel with great staff. The lobby and bar are very relaxing and not far from the centre of the city although for some it might be a bit of a walk. There is a free hotel bus to town in the morning and a free community bus run that stops close by. Parking in the hotel is easy as well. The restaurant on the street level is very good and can be booked to the room. We were impressed with the reception staff. And even more with the room itself. We were so fortunate to be upgraded to a river view room. It was lovely. When we went down for a coffee in the cafe, once again the staff were most attentive. After bring in Europe for 6 weeks, we so much enjoyed the experience of "being spoilt " in our home city. Thank you to all staff at the Hyatt for being so nice!. Rooms were very spacious & very well appointed. King size bed was very comfortable & room service food was great. Really enjoyed the buffet breakfast & spent a very relaxing morning sitting by the pool, which was just lovely. Stayed at the hotel overnight for an event, and overall it was a great experience, very relaxing & great value for money. We will definitely be staying again. the value for money is unbeatable. we have travelled extensively over the years and the hyatt is very competitive on an international level. the buffet breakfast is top class and the way the staff treated us was first class all the way. the bar in the foyer is not only one of the best in terms of looks but also gives you a very classy feel when you spend time there. The beds were so comfy and enjoyed reading the magazines whilst my husband enjoyed the gym and sauna. The cafe hyatt for dinner was classy and the food delicious. Best dessert selection in perth. Have joined the gold class membership and would like to get email updates. Will be staying at hyatt in melbourne soon too. The impression as you walk through the doors is 'wow' 'amazing' and it carried on in that same impression throughout our stay! The rooms are nice and big and comfortable and we had a brilliant view over the pool and the river to the left. We arrived in the early hours of the morning from the UK and without prompting the receptionist offered us a late checkout which I thought was very thoughtful of her. Also had a meal in the Asian resturaunt which was excellent. Wonderful and luxurious hotel. There were no negatives here. A great place, Quiet, Comfortable, Luxurious, wonderful staff - helpful. I dropped my earring down the drain, and the staff retrieved it for me. Great!. The friendliness and helpful nature of the staff, without exception, made our stay very pleasant indeed. The room was clean and well appointed, facilities were also excellent (pool, sauna, gym, bars, restaurant). Loved our room looking out to the pool. Room was at a good temperature. Rooms are immaculately clean and there is a very good choice of restaurants/cafe at the Hotel. Parking available and quite cheap for Perth. City escape package was good value for money and made it viable for us to stay in town rather than cab home. Staff were great as was the food. We will most likely stay again if the pricing is right. International standard of food and service was second to none. There had been a slight mix up with our booking. It was resolved and we were upgraded to a better room. Best club sandwich in perth. The value for money Good room, parking and breakfast in a package deal that for Perth wasnt too outragous. Generally love the hotel. Quiet rooms, cant hear other guests is what I love. There was a mix up with our room and rather than playing the blame game they very graciously upgraded us to a suite. Also the club room lounge and refreshments were very generous. Beautiful building with large central atrium and worth a visit just to see the Australian art exhibited on the first floor. Lovely swimming pool and sunbathing area around. The staff at the front door are excellent and helpful and the housekeeping staff are very courteous and provide excellent service and keep the rooms spotless. We felt very relaxed, the staff were very helpful as we left a small case while we went to Cirque D'Soleil. Breakfast was tasty and lots to choose from. Large room Quiet door closer(doors didn't slam) No false claims about "environmental" towel service, ie no stickers saying used towels on floor... My wife and I thought the bed was and pillows were very comfortable (excellent). Atmosphere and staff could not be faulted. Loved it. I stay again. The drinks in the mini-bar were too high-priced. Water was $10. which is no okay in my opinion. Consequently we looked elsewhere to get drinks. There was nothing that we recall during our stay that we would criticise. Cost of breakfast quite high at $30 pp. Initially when i checked pricing the city package was sold out and if it were not for a colleague who tried again later we would not have booked. Still waiting for a call back about the charger i left in my room. Spoke to some on the following day who was going to get someone else to call me but i have heard nothing yet. Leaving. That we had to leave :(. Had a mix-up with my bill sorted out on the first night, when I came down to settle up the bill the lady who dealt with the problem had not amended on the system and had to go through the whole problem again with the new receptionist. Not a major problem as all was sorted just more about time. The 2 pillows were too hard and I ended up sleeping without one. My only problem was the gentleman who checked us in had a thick Indian accent and spoke softley and I really coulnt understand him and I felt quite ignorant having to say what, sorry, I didnt understand constantly. There was only the one restaurant available for dinner which was a little disappointing. A little far to walk to the centre of town (half an hour), although the walk along the river was lovely on the sunny days we had there, and didn't find out about free bus service in the city until the end of our stay!. I had no hot water and had to go to a meeting without a shower. I had a late check out at 2.00pm and still no water and nothing offered to remedy my problem except a smile and Im sorry! I often stay at this hotel and was disappointed in the lack of communication about the problem and some sort of alternative. I also found the room behind the lift shaft very noisy with the constant sound of running water in the pipes and lift squeaking. Confusing pedestrian entrances from street level, no signs to avoid stairs or access to reception, unless you arrive by taxi. Nice bathroom but designed to ensure wet feet after use from all surfaces. No flexible shower hose. No bidet. Only one hook for two people or place more than one towel on rail. (There was a washing line across bath/shower). I had book for airport shuttle airport one day before and seems the organization is bit poor but lucky the concierge taking full responsibility of taking me to the airport on time. My advice to front desk and concierge, please have well communication to avoid guest miss their flight. Nothing. Gym is too small for such size hotel and equipped with pretty old equipment . No docking stations for iPhone devices Tv is reasonable out of date 5 y.o Air cond in the room requiered service , it's was making terrible noise while running. This stay was not a good one...the room was exceptionally noisy. Room 534, avoid this room!. Silly as it sounds - We couldnt use the pillows as they were too high - an option of a flat pillow in the cupboard would have been great. Booked twin beds and was told they could split the king bed. Four hours later was told they couldn't split the bed and we ended up with a king and a rollaway - not impressed. Long wait in queue on check out. Having to leave!. nothing. The pool area was not manned or regularly patrolled . The area was not tidied and the towels ran out often. We thought that the communal areas, in particular looked rather austere. Hyatt Hotel needs more visual atmosphere, Wedding dinner food, steak very poor over cooked & tough rest of meel very good. Parking was difficult as most bay were marked as reserved for staff. breakfast in the hotel is expensive.
