I liked the closeness to the city, the restaurants and cafes. I loved my room. The facilities were tremendous for the size of the room. Kitchenette, wardrobe, microwave etc etc. The bathroom was perfect. The staff were helpful. Check in and early leaving was easily arranged. The room was very clean. I would recommend this hotel. The location was great for our visit. We walked to & from QPac. There are no stairs. The parking was easy access and secure. The staff were friendly with great attitude. The room was small but the bed was great. We didn't go to hide in the room, just sleep there at night. We would definitely stay again!.
all reviews » Staff very helpful and frienfly. Our accomodation was upgraded which was a pleasant surprise. The location is excellent for Brisbane's entertainment area. Our room was clean and spacious and had excellent catering facilities. Good size bedroom & facilities in the apartment. Swimming pool and spa. The proximity to the cultural areas including the convention centre. Lots of Asian restaurants (Vietamese, Korean & Japanese) nearby. It was close to where I needed to go and also close to activities for my niece to entertain my children while I attended to my business. The apartment was spacious and child friendly. It was even better than I thought - amazing value for the money! Great bedrooms, two balconies, two bathrooms - and just a very clean and cool apartment, I loved it!. The location was superb. So close to Southbank and all the West End restaurants just around the corner. For a place in the middle of everything it was very quiet. I liked that everything was organised when i arrived the staff were very helpful and proffessional. room was clean and comfortable and well appointed. Apartments were close to restaurants, coles and transport. Taxi to the city/valley at night is inexpensive. Staff at the front desk were very lovely. In a great spot handy to everything we needed. Room wasn't large but that was all we needed. I liked the balcony over looking the street. The room was well appointed. Its location was good wih a lot of restaurants around to choose from. We didnt need to drive just walk. Great location,plenty of eateries supermarket,weekend variety market,was quiet considering locality to the city.$10 cab fare. We didn't like the studio suite and the lovely lady at reception allowed us to move to the junior suite which was very nice. Staff were extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has been well looked after and does not yet show its age. location and facilities available if you wish to use them, good and ample restaurants nearby and close to south bank. I feel it would be better to advertise it as The corner of Melbourne and Edmondstone St. Entry via Edmonstone St. The locals have probably got it sussed but most clients would not be locals. Bathrooms could use a more detailed clean. Unable to fry or grill food as it set the smoke alarm off,set too sensitive. I thought the spa needs revamping and unfortunately the pool was freezing. Would be great if the pool was heated. Wi Fi was slow. Signs everywhere. Leave your key behind, $65!! Smoke alarm activated $1065!!! Come on folks, no need for this. Also, one lift u/s, the other staggering along on borrowed time. Television too small for the standard of the accommodation. car parking restricted to one car, some guests may need 2 spaces, is this available?. There was a problem with the TV in our room - I think the remote was broken - so we had to keep using the side of the TV to adjust the controls. Slight fault with one of the air conditioners but that was mainly due to the humid weather causing condensation on the unit. The TV could have been a bit bigger, everything else was excellent. Everything was fine. As we arrived at a very busy time of the day and didn't know the area , we had a bit of trouble finding the entrance as it is not actually on Melbourne street as advertised but on side street. It was a construction site right outside the window, making noises early in the morning. That there was no studio or double room with twin beds That both room occupants were not given individual wi fi access. Wifi is very poor and reception staff could do with a customer service training. Cant think of anything!!. They have a lot of live in residents so you felt like you had to be extra quite. Thought our apartment was a little small if we had been staying for a longer holiday, not a criticism just an observation. No foxtel. apartments under construction next door. nill dislikes. Beds are hard. Also, this email has come to me svereal times. I filled out a review before I left and it is annoying that I keep being asked to fill one out. After hours hotel access is not the best system. had trouble knowing where to park and i didn't see any sign where the lift was from the car park. We called a local friend on a mobile and were charged approximately $25 for a 5 minute call. Address is confusing; was not able to find 220 Melbourne Street with GPS. As the main entrance is in Edmondstone Street it should be noted on your website and/or business cards. Room described as superior. Looked standard to us. Nothing. none.
