Our stay was enjoyable. The staff in all areas of the Hotel were very obliging and helpful. We were both impressed with the level of service we received, this made us feel welcome. And would not consider staying anywhere else next time we return to Brisbane. helpful check-in staff, spacious & comfortable room,location was perfect for walking across bridge to a performance at the Perf. Arts Centre and also for a quick trip to some city shopping.
all reviews » Staff were excellent, particularly the front desk staff and staff who clean the rooms who checked with my husband who was working from the room which was the best time for them to clean etc. Enjoyed the complete stay as we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary on the 3/5 and it was our first time staying at the Treasury Hotel. (Pokies could have been more generous!!!!). We were there for my daughters wedding- the bride & groom stayed also. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful whilst getting ready for the wedding & afterwards. The high ceilings, the size of the room, the age of the hotel, the extensive minibar (though check the price before opening the Moet!). Loved the architecture of the room. Nice large bathroom. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Location to shopping and casino. Good old fashioned hospitality in a beautiful old hotel, high ceilings, comfy beds, divine bathrooms. Service staff first class. Breakfast facilities - minimal options in the bar and do not like having to go into casino for breakfast. When we opened the doors to the balcony we were unexpectedly greeted with a large glass pane blocking its access. Although it quickly seemed obvious why it was there we were still mildly disappointed as we'd seen this beautiful balcony connected to our room but had no prior knowledge that it was inaccessible. Also the trip from the car park was a bit of a mission but that comes down to building design and can't really be helped. apart from that everything was excellent. Nothing. The shower over the bath, I slipped getting in and ended up with a large bruise on the inside of my leg. I am not a lover of showers in/over baths, I prefer a separate shower alcove/cubicle. All the above should be no charge given the very expensive room. This is penny pinching. I won't be back. Unable to have cereal for breakfast unless breakfast was taken in the bedroom. Could be more car parks. Reception clerk was a barely understandable Chinese female, (O.K for Asian tourists, I prefer Australian staff in Australia.) Outgoing clerk (Aussie) much better and very helpful. Stayed on a Friday night with my elderly mother room 218 noise from live music building nearby very loud staff were wonderful in saying they could move us music stopped at 10pm would not stay that side of hotel again. $8 price for a bottle of water in the room where I thought it was complimentary. Pillows, the worn carpet, the lack of information ie parking, dinning the cracked tiles in the bathroom. Nothing. water not hot enough in shower. Not enough light in the room mainly due to the high ceilings and the main lights being above the windows on the side wall. Nothing. The fact that I was charged twice for our stay & it took me a week to get a refund!. Did not get twin beds I requested. The few times I have visited the Treasury hotel, I have noticed a smell in a couple of the rooms. Maybe consider changing the deordouriser you use, because it is not a particularly welcoming smell.A small portion of the staff did not engage in a manner that was helpful or showed a level of comprehension that would be anticipated in a hotel of this kind. Room AC didn't work extras as payment 20 for wireless per day plus only two coffee capsules per stayers mean. the noise from outside our window,poor curtains,hot water was below legal requirements,information on how to gamble,making bets etc,poor tv. Bit dated furniture. No wireless in room. Hotel is tired. Staff friendly but not particularly knowledgeable. Access difficult. The Hotel section lacked facilities in that everything appeared to be centred around the casino. We were over for the Lions Tour and returned after the match to find the bar closed, not what i would expect of a five star facility. The casino appeared nothing better than a glorified slot machine, the bars were over full and noisy nowhere to have a qiet drink and chat with friends. The TV was not working and within minutes of arriving, had to call reception to have the TV fixed. This should be checked off as compliant before guests arrive. The bed was broken/sagging considerably in the middle, thus giving a terrible sleep. The interiors are dated, and looks more like a 1990s old fashioned fit-out hotel.. Seems like The Addams family lives here! could look a lot better/ more style needed for that priced hotel. Only 2 coffee pods are provided free of charge and no sachets of coffee provided as an alternative. This is not acceptable considering the nightly rate charged. Air conditioning very noisy, Décor very heavy and somewhat dated, could hear TV's and showers and talking from rooms either side of us.

From 1 January, 2017, a number of traffic routes and road changes will be implemented in and around Brisbane's CBD due to the ongoing construction of the new Queen's Wharf precinct. During this time, entry to Treasury Casino via George Street will remain unchanged and guests are still able to access Treasury Brisbane Hotel via the main entrance at 130 William Street. Valet parking will continue to be available to all guests staying at the hotel. Self-parking is available at $25 per day and valet parking is available at $40 per day. Parking is subject to availability. The entrance ramp to the Hotel and Casino car park is located on the left hand side of George Street, when traveling north between Margaret and Elizabeth Streets. The car park is located underneath Queen's Park between the Hotel and Casino buildings. Please note that a credit card pre-authorisation or cash surety is required to cover the cost of accommodation plus $100 (credit card) or $200 (cash) per night for incidentals. If providing a cash surety, please allow an additional 15 minutes' for the check-out process. Pre-authorisation is a business practice of holding/freezing a specified amount on a credit card making the amount unavailable to the cardholder until either the account is settled, or the hold releases. In the case of credit cards, authorisation holds may last up to 10 days (depending on the issuing bank) after which time the authorisation will release, making the funds available once again. Please note, children are welcome and permitted to stay in Hotel accommodation rooms only. Children are not permitted to stay in Casino accommodation rooms. 1 older child or adult is charged $50 per person per night in an extra bed.
