Excellent location, fantastic apartments, very clean modern and so comfortable. Absolutely love staying here when we come to Brisbane! Request a room ending in '02' (I.E. 202, 302, 402, etc) as they are on the corner facing Queen St Mall and the aspect is incredibly light and airy with plenty of windows, just gorgeous!!. Fabulous, spacious and luxurious, brilliant location right in the centre of the city. Old world charm in the architecture and marble floors. Well-equipped kitchen, great for longer stays. Staff gave clear instructions for after-hours check-in.

Loved it and will definitely stay again. Thank you :). Well designed, quiet, comfortable, convenient and well-appointed. I would recommend MacArthur Chambers to all of my friends. Also, we enjoyed the visit to the MacArthur Museum. It is worth recommending to all who stay. We love the location and the apartment was very spacious and clean. The girls at the reception were friendly and helpful. MacArthur Chambers is always our preferred accommodation when in Brisbane. first time stayer. Can i just say it was a real eye opener room was fantastic for the occasion the location was great but the layout of the room for a family is what i find amazing. Apartment is very clean. Staff are very polite and helpful. Everything is in order as you told. It is in the heart of CBD so you can enjoy shopping in the morning and night life. The location was excellent - everything in walking distance. Preferred that it was a suite rather than just a bedroom and had a competitive rate. The car park is very secure. All Good. Two bedrooms,two bathrooms, three toilets. Comfortable lounge/dining. Nice kitchen, but hey who want's to cook when there are so many nearby cafes. Spacious units and great staff. Units were really quite too. Lounge rooms were so huge. Loved having 3 bathrooms :) Replacement of lost key so cheap. The location was a factor in choosing macarthur Chambers. On arrival , I found the staff to be friendly , informative and very helpful. The two bedroom was very spacious. The lounge room was huge. Great location right next to the mall. Room number ending in '07' situated on opposite corner of building was dark, cold and miserable! Didn't like this room at all due to poor natural light and proximity to neighbouring office block (that could see straight into our room hence curtains were drawn all the time!!). Room amenities & standard were terrific of course but just the lack of natural light and aspect was quite depressing!. No dislikes. You have to bring all your food and drinks. Bathroom exhaust fan was not working - reported it, but staff said it was. It wasn'T. One of our showers leaked a bit. $300 for bond is a little excessive. Extra towels should not cost. Nothing springs to mind. Still had to pay for wifi!!!. The front automatic doors open outwards - watch out ;-). No staff at night, no information on how to check in after 19:00 hrs. Wondered what to do in case of emergency?. pillows a bit firm. The view from 305. All the warnings of dire consequences should anything be done against the many rules. Having to empty your own garbage out at the end of the stay. This is not cheap accomodation and shouldn't have petty notices all over. Overzealous officialdom. The creaking bed. office hours only 7am to 7pm. Nothing. Spa pool was cold, but we were here to shop, so not too big an issue. Inside Room - not much light. Airconditioning in bedroom was poor. Airconditioning overall took some time to cool the area. could be more generous with shampoos/soaps etc. nothing. Seating: Couch not as comfortable as it could be. Cold spa and very uncomfortable beds. There was an unpleasant smell in the hallways and the lift. The hallways smelt mouldy/musty and the lift had a mild sewerage smell. This was commented on by all guests. There needs to be a neutraliser used on the carpet and maybe some diffusers/potpourri placed around - apart from that, all good.. The cleanliness was disgraceful. It was so bad that we had to go out and buy cleaning products and clean the apartment ourselves from top to bottom. We requested that it be cleaned shortly after we arrived and somebody came but still did not get it to a clean standard that was acceptable. This was really disappointing as everything else outside of cleanliness was good. Dont mind paying the money but I expect cleanliness above all else. Blankets had holes in it Lounge stained and rock hard Coffee cups dirty. The spa was not working (or turned off), and we were not notified or compensated. This was one of the primary reasons why we selected this apartment. We were very disappointed. Non-existant staff, no explanantion for out of towners of complicated parking access,bland decor, and lack of cleanliness. The street noise you can hear in the rooms, the cleanliness of the apartment, the worn dirty carpet, dirty marks on the walls. Room was too dark and gloomy. No service and no milk/tea/coffee refills. Not clean During the 3 days we spent there we saw nobody No cleaning , no garbage removel, no new towels.

Please note that reception opening hours are: Monday to Friday - 07:30 to 19:00 Saturday and Sunday - 08:30 to 12:30 Guests arriving outside reception opening hours are kindly requested to inform the hotel in advance for room access instructions. Please note Macarthur Chambers Apartments is located at 201 Edward Street Brisbane, but car park entrance is on 246 Elizabeth Street. Please proceed to the 1st level of the car park- you will receive a ticket at the first gate- level 1- leave your luggage in the vehicle. Use the lifts to reach Ground Level- walk straight ahead from the lift- which will bring you to Edward Street and MacArthur Chambers Reception will be approximately 10 metres on your right where reception will provide you with the swipe key for access. After collecting your access card: • Please use Macarthur Central lift to go down to level P1 to move your car to secure parking of Macarthur Chambers Apartments. • Swipe your card at the boom gate on Level 2 (blue level) . • Proceed to Level 3 (green level) and enter the MacArthur Chambers secure fenced off parking area using your swipe key. • Park in any vacant space with the sign HOTEL GUEST PARKING. Please do not park in a 'reserved for owner' space. • Access to MacArthur Chambers Apartments is via the lift inside the secure area- please swipe your unit key inside the lift before pressing the unit floor (this is the first number of your unit number i.e. 101 is level 1)
