I liked that they let me leave my luggage in the hotel before check in because i was going to soundwave. The breakfast was delicious and excellent value for money. I lived how it was right next to the station. I would've gone and had a drink at the pub/nightclub, but was knackered from soundwave. Staff very accommodating and helpful; room cleaners/service very friendly and cheerful; plenty toilets and showers at each floor and just around the corner to the biggest mall. And just across the Train Central station.

We got stuck in the lift. As a person prone to panic attacks, i was relieved that we got it working before anything too bad happened. A bit noisy at times but becomes quiet after 10 p.m. Guests are just having good time with friends. The elevator was not functioning the whole time I was there and have to climb the stairs (100 steps total) to my 4th floor. No heater in the room and have to purchase a 10 dlrs heater. Several reception staff were not the friendliest people. Kitchen facilities not so nice. Room was very small with a small bedside table only, but I only needed it for a bed so this didn't worry me too much!. Noise from other guests at night & lack of security. Lift was rough to operate. The room was clean but that smelled smoking. paint fumes from fresh paint on veranda-gave me a headach. Noisy. Party all night in the rooms and corridors... If someone need to rest definitely is not the best place. It was quite noisy at night with the bar below. No. The dj on the ground floor was deafening all night. I left at 4am for a flight after not being able to sleep all night and he was still going. (It was Wednesday night!!). Being woken by screaming and yelling in the early hours. However that's what tend to expect in a backpackers. They don't have elevator, so if you have heavy suitcases, be ready to do exercise. If you are allocated in the first or second floor you are not going to sleep well in the night, as there is a pub/night club under the hotel and is really noise during the night. Very noisy - single rooms have a large grate above the door for some reason so you can hear everything in the corridor and noise travels more from other rooms. Room next door turned radio on after midnight, drunk people shouting in corridor, loud club in basement. Staff pleasant but long wait to check in/out and not that helpful. The mattresses were old. thin, lumpy and very, very uncomfortable. Folded blankets on the floor were more comfortable than the mattresses. no elevator, very basic. Woken up at all hours (2-5 am) by other guests thumping down the hallway conducting shouted drunken conversations with others miles away. Piles of vomit on carpets in the morning!. Adherence to time. 10am was 10am. As such long check out ques etc. Should be 11 or half past in my opinion. a friend could get breakfast at 11. Admittably, it finishes around then but little give on time. Noisy at night No one doing security at night to control noisy or troublesome guests Easy entrance for non guests to enter premises. Front entrance needs security key or code. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay to hire a towel. And the water pressure in the showers is very low, so it takes a while to have a shower. I also didnt like the noise from the club downstairs. Good if you are willing to sacrifice comfort for saving a few dollars. The women of the staff very aggressive. Stay on the 2nd floor and was a bad smell coming from shared rooms!. The fitted sheets on all beds need to be changed regularly. All beds had a fresh sheet with comforter/duvet but the fitted sheets (covering the base)were re-used, from the looks of one of them it had been re-used for a month or more... it was brown not white with blood spots. I really wanted to complain and show someone how dirty it was but went and got a fresh sheet my self. Other than that the whole experience was very good. Staff were helpful and location was perfect. Thanks. Very noisy. Smelt of urine. Air conditioning not strong enough. More smaller kitchens would be better than one industrial sized one for 5 floors of people. Noisy location. Poor quality couples room, & there was a funny smell in the corridor. Bedroom is uncomfortable. The noise all the night : if you want to sleep don't go there ! The kitchen is a big mess !. a bit noisy on the weekend at the front of the building best to stay at the back of the building. Not so clean. toilet proximity. Dragging my bag up 4 flights of stairs because the lift is broken. Having to buy a towel. The showers are really old and difficult to use it, staff not much friendly, Every mornig the staff clean are noisy and they are alarm clock free!!!. Dirty, inefficiently soundproof, ran down; not good value for the money. The room was really smelly and suffocating. We couldnt sleep well because of other noisy guests. The staff were not really friendly. 10 girls were sleeping in 8 bed girls room. Girls sneaked in through the key card of their friend who had paid for one bed. 5 girls who had not paid for stay were whole night disturbing and left the door wide open so that they could mobilise without key card. Next, there was a drunk fight ended up smashing and breaking glasses in front of our room. After which, they apparently called the police. Management is sluggish, needs to have strict ways to enter the dorms. noisy at night, poor restroom, broken toilet, high footsteps in front the door for carrying big luggage. Smell Poor quality of building Unmotivated staff Small room with window that can only slightly open and a poor view on a grey office building and alleyway. Very dirty bathrooms. Leaking from above toilet through roof. Rooms need a vacuum, very dirty and dusty. Rooms are so loud as the rooms are not fully enclosed. Really dirty and old.
