Paul,the Manager of Bathurst Explorers Motel, was very helpful, he checked out places for me on the computer and provided a map so I could find the places that I needed to see. In the evening Paul also recommended, several good places to dine. The cooked breakfast was excellent and the bed very comfortably, would and have already recommended this Motel to friends. Welcome was positive, responsive, and genuine. Ample parking available on site. Close to main shops and eateries. The room was clean and well serviced. Heater worked...it needed to as it was only 3c in the morning. Breakfast was not included in the price but was available for purchase on site.
all reviews » Exactly what we required. Neat and tidy cheerful budget motel close to the university as we had a graduation event to attend from 7.30 am. Staff we friendly and efficient. Although in a main road the traffic wasn't noticed and we slept well. Friendly and helpful staff, the location to where we needed to be was perfect and convenient, family & baby friendly, clean rooms. We would recommend staying here to everyone. Thank you for a perfect accommodation stay. The moment you arrive the staff treat you as one of their family nothing is a problem and this when travelling long distances makes it a wonderful place to relax and return to. I booked a double room plus a family room and there was a mix-up so the friendly receptionist had it fixed before we got there by giving our family three rooms. Loved that we could bring our dog! The comfortable bed was appreciated and the roses were spectacular- the beautiful gardens were an unexpected pleasure for a basic motel. courteous and friendly staff clean room lovely hot shower with a big shower rose! large comfy bed quiet even though it is on the main road to Cowra. Having a $5.00 breaky available early in the morning. location to city centre. Nothing. Room was rather small A jug was supplied but no toaster??? Bathroom was very dated Hand basin (or at the very least, the taps) needed replacing The toilet leaked (apologies for not having mentioned this before leaving). Nothing the room was not wanting as a budget motel. All was great. Bathroom was just a little bit small. The rooms adjacent were just a little bit noisy, nothing too bad. nothing really. I could only stay one night. Only one small built-in cupboard. No storage space for luggage. Nowhere to sit really apart from on the beds. bathroom tiny and the floor got very wet whenever the shower was used. The lack of parking. I parked on the street every day. Not quite walking distance to town for oldies. Nothing much. Lots of traffic noise. Nothing not to like. the room smelt like ciggarettes and the bed was placed under the curtains. No hair dryer. Room was a little small but functional. The toilet was cramped!. Not the Hyatt. Older style and room did not have an eating space but good value for money. Very small room and cramped bathroom. Would not suit large person(s). Room a bit small. Room was small for 1 adult and 2 children - as it was only a double room. There was a mix up with the online booking and the hotel was only expecting a single adult. Hotel staff put in a small collapsible bed to compensate. No foxtel. Lack of hair dryer and shower cap as I have got used to these being supplied in other motels. Room small No hairdryer Although they did offer to take out the single bed. A little cramped. The shouting arguing couple in the room next door that woke my son and me up early in the morning. The walls are not at all soundproof between rooms. Could not get Gluten free breakfast, even though I rang ahead. None. No shampoo. The Knock at door after 9pm, when kids were in bed, to suposedly check the fuse box, which in my opinion could have been done the following day, as there was no problem with electricity/ fuse with my room on that night. The rooms are quite old n tired n are in need of a good coat of paint n a modernization of the toilet n shower ....whole bathroom really. noise was a big problem facilities needed an update years ago.
