We just returned from a 8 night stay at Whitsunday Reflections and all I can say is wow! The apartment was very modern, and had everything you would need for a holiday. We were checking in after hours but had no problems receiving the code for the safe hours before arrival. The pool and spa facilities were great and both the times we used them they were very quiet. Although the apartments are right next to each other the balconies are very private and we had no noise issues. Yes the apartments.
all reviews » Everything about our Reflections apartment was exactly what we needed for a restful holiday. Each room is fitted out with everything you could possibly need. The Views were a delight to wake up to everyday - so much so we kept our curtains and doors opened all night. The apartment was spacious and clean, and we felt we were holidaying in luxury. Loved the friendliness of the lady serving us on our arrival, the room we were transferred to was wonderful! ( from 10 to 23 ) The apartment was super comfy, we also liked the privacy of not having cleaners knocking on our door during our stay, will definitely be staying again on our next visit to airlie. The apartment was huge with a large bedroom and large terrace area. It was modern, spotless and fitted out to the highest standard. It was also great value, the staff were friendly, the pool was lovely and the views were amazing! We were so impressed and cant wait to go back. Everything. I would like to thank two lovely guys Clem and Jack who came to our unit at 5.30 in the morning to carry our luggage up 4 sets of stairs. What wonderful people you are, and we sincerely thank you so much. We will never forget your kindness. Thank you Clem and Jack. The apartment and views were amazing. A very romantic and well equipped getaway just what we wanted. Great decor and look to the apartment. We also used a fab chinese takeaway that delivered so we could eat on our balcony enjoying the best views in Airlie. Wow!!. Reflections apartment was lovely, it was comfortable, very private, had everything we needed, large balcony was great, it was only $6 in a taxi or walking distance to the main strip and the view over the ocean was fabulous. I'd recommend it to anyone. Loved the apartment. It was so comfortable, clean and well appointed. Very comfy bed and very quiet. A friendly Cockatoo visited on the balcony. The balcony was a great place to hang out with a wonderful view over Airlie Beach. Excellent place to stay. Views were pure heaven. Size of 2 bedroom apartment was great and certainly catered to our needs. Long walk to the pool but it was well worth the hard exercise on the way back up. Waking up to turquoise oceans is the best way to start a new day. Huge master bedroom. Roomy, great kitchen, great bathrooms, view was amazing, pool and spa, very modern, ground staff were very friendly, $6 or $7 into town by cab and very cheap! Cheaper than a hostel and kitchen saves you money on food. perfect !! great views of the Airlie Beach area and a extreemely well set up apartment. a great place to stay. it is within walking distance of the town centre however the return home is mostly all uphill. great if you like a challenge. great views from our apartment .lovely luxurious bedroom / bathroom .clean and private .manager vicky very helpful and friendly .if we visit airlie again we would definitely love to stay at this hotel again . john and nicole . Hill up to the place was a bit of a challenge, but it's not TOO far up, so it justifies the ice cream you eat whilst on holidays!. Only minor issue was the hill, but realistically if you want a view then you get a hill! Well worth the 5 minutes of effort!. No Soap and too many stairs for older people. Not much really. A drinks vendor selling a few cold drinks/ snacks would have been handy. As there isn't one you just have to make sure you but supplies before you get there. The only thing I could fault was one piece of small soap for a week - lucky I had brought another with me. Apartment needed a decent clean. Especially bathrooms. Balconies dirty also. But cleaners came back on the first day while we went out and cleaned the apartment again. Didnt like reception not being available during 'open' hours. Sunday there is only a 2 hour window to contact reception if theres a problem. Apartment ot serviced over 5 night stay. At the top of a huge hill but that's what you get when you want a view. Second bedroom was very small in comparison with the master bedroom but had its own good sized bathroom (we swapped bedrooms halfway through to be fair). if you dont have A car its A steep hill to accommodation .on the plus side you get A great view . No wifi. No options whatsoever. Bit disappointing in this day and age! I was studying so it was a pain for me whilst I was there. Hot-water pressure was a bit challenging... Carrying bags up or down the stairs in rainy weather, gen Y probably Okay with it. Pool area is small, with only 3 lounges, but modern and well maintained. Cooked bacon and eggs and the smoke alarms went off (rangehood on) so we didn't cook anything else due to the location of the alarm. Pillows were too soft, ended up using one of the many designer pillows decorating the bed. There was no bathmat or hand towel to use and parking was a little tight. No Internet access on site yet - it's coming. Easy to access in town meantime. Too busy enjoying the spectacular view to care anyway!. Wear and tear is far more obvious than it should be in a new-ish resort. (Cracked tiles and brickwork/rendering around the place, obvious mould) Some workmanship is a bit below par - shower does not drain quickly enough and it overflows and surrounds the toilet. Cleanliness - bathrooms need a good scrubbing. Pile of hair in one bathroom in our apartment :-(. In the kitchen it could have more utensils, salad bowls. They could sweep the stairs up to the apartments. We loved our stay, but we had a issue with a blocked toliet. although it was resolved that day! There was several hairs dotted around the apartment and squashed bugs, but other than that the place was immaculate!. Should be Two loungers on the balcony . No Wifi No signs to show where apartments are Only one sun lounger- two would have been great. 1. The music from the Pub coming up the hill until all hours on the Friday night. 2. Only being given one small square of soap, no hand towel, and having to ask for another piece of soap. Having to leave. The walk up the hill home although still worth it for the welcoming accommodation and view. The surroundings (stairways) need some cleaning and - no operating wifi and no one around to ask. Access to Reflections pool and spa not easy for elderly and handicapped. The hill up from Airlie Beach not easy for pedestrians - although the view made it worth the effort. Open toilet/shower area in main bedroom also has its drawbacks!. Kitchen was not well equipped for the size and purpose of the apartment. Stereo did not work. Felt like it needed a good spring clean - it was surface clean but needed a really good clean. The hill up to the apartment. Would've liked more than 2 deck chairs in a 4 person apartment. The view of the roof (dirty and plain) below our apartment takes away from the beauty of the overall landscape. The kitchen, shower and basins hadn't been properly cleaned, and the bed blanket was unacceptably dirty. Wifi functionality would be good. The hill up if you are walking. View is cut off unless you are level 3 or higher. A little noise from the town as the apartment is on a hill, sound travels up. Not recommended for anyone who is unfit and has to walk home, steep road. The cot wasnt set up and arriving late at night after long trip it is the last thing you want to do. Walking the way up, but that´s worth the view. Fire alarm turns on while cooking and it was very noisy(need maybe more instructions about what to do in this case) same issue for the people living downstairs(it stops by itself) i stopped cocking after that..., Found cigarettes in the terrace's floor when i am not a smoker and hate cigarettes(but the vue is so nice that i could forgot about that) Credit card charge one night before check-in, i wanted to pay there with other credit card on check-in. just the ealk up the hill the pool wasn'T heated. Only 1 x rubbish bin area at reception, should have bins available at carpark. There was no hand towel. The tea towel was stained,drinking glasses needed a clean. there was nothing that i didnt like. no curtains on kitchen rear windows lacks privacy.

Repairs and maintenance to the common area, private owners and holiday let apartments will be ongoing. Contractors may be working 6 days a week from 06:30 until 18:00.
