  The staff were very friendly and helpful - they made every effort to help me despite the fact that I spoke very little Spanish, and they spoke very little English. The rooms were also stylishly designed and comfortable. - very nice staff, very helpful and friendly

  The setting is gorgeous. Tilcara is a beautiful little town, and the hotel is perched up at the very top, with a nice view. The hotel itself is small but lovely. The grounds are well cared for, the rooms are spacious and attractive, and the breakfast was one of the better ones we've had here (it included fruit salad, deli meat and cheese, along wi... what people say » th the usual bread/pastries, orange juice and hot drinks). We also loved taking a swim in the pool, which is somewhat heated (though the heat doesn't - The layout of the small hotel complex is good, with the garden and pool area in the middle. The architectural style was also pretty damn good. Breakfast was quite tasty. The bedroom was good, big bed and good shower. It might get a bit chilly in the cooler weather, even when we were there it was not the warmest room in the world.
