THE STAFF WAS MAZING! JOSE was so helpful & friendly and Valerio, the manager, was very professional and courteous. Maria, at reception, was very pleasant all the time. The restaurant was great! We had breakfast included, so we ventured out for dinners... The last noght we ate dinner at the hotel - we wished we had eaten there every night, it was so good! Thanks to Tania, the hostess, we were enticed with a complimentary glass of champagne and we are so grateful for the fabulous dinne.
all reviews » The hotel was well situated being near restautrants, shops and the bus station. The rooms were spacious and comfortatable. Well equipped with plenty of bath towels, pool towels, hair dryer and a fridge. Didn't need to use the fridge bar. Breakfast in the Restaurant whilst plentiful, lacked imagination and after a few days became repeatative. Staff at reception were pleasant and helpful. Even arranged to telephone for the airport bus without question. There is a ramp from the street to the ho. The best was the pool garden with the "quincho" bar. I didn't use the spa, but the facilities in general looked great. The restaurant was spacious, overlooked the street, and the food was great -and I'm Argentinian, which gives me a more authorized voice about it! The breakfast buffet was also abundant. The location in front of the bus station and a few steps from restaurants and the town centre was a big plus!. You're on holiday anyway, right?. They were working on the pool area while we were there - some noise but it was still usable. Pool water was cold (August) Carpet in our room was old and stained Internet connection not very strong in the room, better in public areas. The fact that you have to pay for use of the computers and then cannot print directly but have to email reception with the item as an attachment. So no confidentiality. Their town map was a rubbish photocopy. A bit pricey considering the average prices of a room at other comparable hotels nearby. Very old furniture in the older part, the hotel seems very huge. Staff did not provide any information about how to get to the falls when asked for a map we were given a crappy print out from the computer. In need of some refurbishment. Standard rooms very poor value.Your co. should not direct customers to these. Booking direct with hotel is both cheaper and rooms superior. Awful coffee and fruitjuice with a lot of water. The hotel-service is not efficient (i.e. waiting-time for towels 50 minutes). room was confortable but need to be ventilated and soon to be remodeled. Old carpets in bad shape. Room was a little dated and bathroom was large but with chips in bath and tiles. We booked half board but staff said we were entitled only to breakfast even though our receipt showed otherwise. We has to talk to 2 staff who then talked to supervisor before honoring our receipt. This was especially silly as dinner was a buffet and wouldn't have cost any extra for including us, as an enormous amount would have been wasted. The carpet in the room needs lots of cleaning. The design of the showers lacks common sense- the water gets on the floor which become sleepery. A lot can be done to upadte the rooms to a more modern look , feel and smell. VERY UNPLEASANT SMELL in the room, probably from the very old and not very clean carpet very used and old room equipment and furniture not very clean and not very big swimming pool nice buffet (opticaly and with variety of food) (dinner and breakfast booked), unfortunately only max. 50% also really eatable definitely not 4* in european view (max 2,5*). The first room provided to us did not match the description on booking a ( triple room with three single beds) and the bathroom leaked badly right into the entrance hall. The second room in the old section of the hotel was much better but the towels were still way too thin to provide a comfortable experience. The room amenities and breakfast options need improving for the price. Very dated. Old hotel Bathroom Carpets were old and smelling.
