We felt very much at home at this hotel. Staff is very friendly, and helpfull when you need information about the waterfalls. The hotel is located about 15 minutes away (walking) from the town centre in a residential area. That makes it nice and quiet at night and it's a safe route to walk. (and the town's centre isn't that nice either) Definately try out the restaurant! Food was the best we had during 2 weeks in Argentina. Breakfast was good (no buffet), nicely served on a wooden board with p.
all reviews » The best hotel in Puerto Iguazu. Exceeded all my expectations. Especially if you prefer boutique experience and not the mainstream large hotels for mass tourism. Personal touch, great design and relaxing atmosphere is what you get. Another surprise came from their restaurant: the chef has a Michelin star and it shows. His creations is a work of art on a plate that will tickle all your senses. The staff is helpful and will get you sorted with all your trips to the waterfalls. The owner is great . This hotel is superb, the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. The food is incredible and beautifully presented The location is walking distance from the place where the three countries meet. The Falls are best reached by taking one of the excellent tours. We have travelled on many parts of the world, and know a good hotel when we see one. This is a very good one! If you are going to Iguazu, like good food, a restful environment, wonderful staff, good facilities and value . The jacuzzi/outdoor hot tub was fab! Rooms were lovely, decor is amazing and the beds were huge. This resort is on the Argentinean side of the falls and location is quite good also. Staff were extremely helpful. We got galss of bubbly each on arrival too. Gonzalo the man on reception was really helpful and made our stay very pleasant. We were due to stay in the 5 star Sheraton hotel but cancelled our stay to etay an extra night in Boutique hotel. I'd definitely go back again! Breakfast was grea. This was amazing. We felt very welcome and the staff helped us in every way, also booked a nice excursion to Brazil with a wonderful and trustful taxi driver. We wanted a room where we could sit outside: no problem. Also, food is very good here, no need to go out for prices are the same, but quality is worse elsewhere. And they serve the best Scroppino of Argentina! :) Also, it was my husbands birthday and they had a very nice surprise. In every way, a very very good stay!. It is a small hotel, 11rooms, very personal, great staff, great atmosphere, good restaurant in house. Run by an Italian couple. simona looks after front of house and all the guests needs. she is wonderful. her husband is the chef, and a very fine one at that. the room was not amazing, but very comfy and practical. It is not the Sheraton, but if you are looking for a personal service in a small hotel this will suit you. beautiful resort, very friendly staffs, near the river, very comfortable place to stay in. you can even get a massage in your room. we had to leave at 6am. the staffs offered to make breakfast for us at 5.45am although the breakfast timing was supposed to start at 7am. they went out of the way to make our stay as comfortable a possible. the dinner at the restaurants were also very good. A beautiful, peaceful place to stay. The owners are architect and chef, so the hotel is amazing from the design point of view and the feedbacks on the restaurant were great. Unfortunately we staied there only one night, when the restaurant was closed, so didn't have a cnahce to have dinner dinner. Gives a feeling of bed&breakfast rather then a of a hotel. Best Restaurant in town. The rooms were a little simple by Boutique Standards but far better than most hotels in town. Pool and jacuzzi cleaned daily (although there is a little residue from the trees by evening). Champagne by the jacuzzi is a must. This hotel is clean and I would recommend staying here. Great staff. Really excellent and friendly staff, beautiful hotel. The location is a bit out of the centre (about 10-15mins walk), but worth the small detour. Nice to have an jacuzzi in the beautiful garden to relax after a day of waterfalls. The restaurant is excellent, although perhaps a bit pricy. We loved the beauty of the courtyard, the exquisite cuisine and friendliness of the staff. From the hotel owners to the employees, everyone was attentive and pleasant. We would definitely stay here again. The breakfasts were delicious and ample, with a variety for all hotel guests. We had a wonderful time here. The hotel is lovely, staff were amazing, welcome drink was appreciated! They arranged very reasonably priced massages for us on site and the breakfast was very nice. The restaurant is supposed to be a gourmet restaurant however we found it more about the presentation and decoration than the quality and taste of the food. It is also a bit overpriced. We found nicer restaurants in the town that had better prices. Walking may take up to 10 minutes to the centre but it's a nice walk and not too far. Also, dont be disappointed by the taxi fares offered by the hotel. They are normal and reasonable. Taxi fares are simply higher than elsewhere in Argentina. Standard price: it costs 120 pesos one way to go to/from the airport. Bus from the airport costs 40 pesos one way per person (so 80 for 2) but may take a longer time to wait and take you to your hotel. Just so you know what the prices are around here. the toilet was leaking. but it was okay. Breakfast is set and great if you love it but not if you don't. I enjoyed it initially but I needed some choice after the second day.The coffee comes as a welcome relief from the milk with a spoon of instant found so often in South America. All in all a good hotel which I would stay in again if I ever returned. nothing. It would be nice to have some blackout curtains, so the room is dark. Also would be nice to have hot water in the sink. A little bit far from the centre of town, but absolutely fine if you're just there to see the falls, the bus stop is very close!. The local neighbourhood is residential and st night were could hear A lot of dogs barking. The pool and hot tub weren't cleaned until the second day of our stay. A little bit far from city center But the treatment is worth it. No real complaints!. We wish the chef prepared breakfast because it fell far short in every way. They are a little off the beaten path, but no problems getting taxi's or getting to where we wanted to go. A bit of a hike to the downtown area. The Visa machine didn't work at the check-out, hence I had to walk 5 blocks to extract money... Nevertheless, this should not be a regarded as a downside of the hotel. Electric showers in bathrooms are always a bit of a pain and hot water in bathroom was a bit temperamental (seemed like you had to run the shower to get hot water to the bath taps). Slippery paths, take care when they are wet. The gaps under the doors let the mosquitoes in. The double bed was two singles pushed together. No safety deposit box in the room. Nothing to not like. The only bad thing was the shower, it's to small. The room was a bit small. Breakfst. nothing. While this hotel has potential, the facilities are in extremely poor condition. The standard room was not even shown online, ours was at the back of the hotel, cramped, no safe, no phone. The "hot tub" was cold and dirty (and in re-reading online reviews has been so for months). The price is at least double what it should be for the quality of hotel. While the place has definite potential, its prices need to be significantly reduced until if and when it reaches that potential. Overpriced for rooms and location. 1) Dead flies, mosquitoes and spiders everywhere (on the bed, in the bathroom, on the floor). 2) Breakfast is a joke. 3) A poor location far from center. It's really scary to go outside. 4) Thin walls. We couldn't sleep (dogs barking, too loud air condition compressor just outside of our room).
