The cabin we stayed in is nice and clean with 2 floors, double bed
upstair and twin beds down stair. Kitchen,fridge,microwave provided. We
stayed for 3 nights. We had a good time trekking even though the second
day was too windy and we couldn't go up to Fitz Roy. We had the last
day with perfect weather. Staff is friendly and speak English very well.
El chalten is a small town so don't expect for nice grocery in
supermarket. There are few supermarkets but nothing much in them (

The hiking was amazing. We were very lucky to have fantastic weather.
Breakfast was okay,not many choices if we compared to another hotels we
stayed in Argentina. But it was not a problem as we had our own food
with us. Internet connection was bad as our cabin was not in the main
building. But it was okay as we went there for trekking :).
1. They need thicker bedroom doors, too much morning noise.
2. WIFI only in lobby.
The cabaña was noisy, you can hear the people in the room besides you talk.
The rooms are not well soundproofed, so avoid the ones on the ground floor.
The weather was very hot and the hotel was not prepared for the heat. A simple mobile fan would have made our stay more enjoyable. I spoke to a 70 year old lady who told me she slept on the tile floor because she couldn't sleep from the heat. There was another couple whose window wouldn't open.
