Very nice and willing personel, what more they spoke fluently english which is not very common in argentina. Hotel was well situated, nice and clean room and also quite. Hotel is situated on the oppsite side of the main street (you just walk all in all not more then hundred meters and you are on the main street). Really regret I had to leave after staying a one night (moving to another destination of my argentinina trip).

There is a lot of sitting areas in the lobby, cozy. Was fun having coffee on a comfy sofa every day. The location is excellent, everything is nearby, if we ever go back to el calafate this will be our first choice. The cottage-style interior of the hotel creates a nice atmosphere. Hotel staff is welcoming and friendly. The best aspect of the hotel, however, is its location: close to the main street of El Calafate and walking distance to the bus terminal. We loved the staff! They were very helpful with everything we needed. The room was spacious & clean. The location was great . . . off the main street but only a 5 minute walk away. For us everything was perfect. Don't expect luxury :). Hotel could use a freshening up of its facilities, as time is getting the better of it. The breakfast buffet is also lacking inspiration. We liked everything about the hotel . . . no complaints whatsoever. only about 4-5 tv channels in the room - a few more (music channel...) would have been appreciated. The hotel isn´t brandnew but I found it very good and comfortable. The breakfast was a bit sparce , could do with a bit more choice. The WIFI is pretty bad in the room, can't use in my room. Check out time is too early (10am!) and breakfast could be better. Wifi wasnt that great but almost nowhere is in El Calafate. Internet WIFI was not strong enough away from lobby.... this is a minor issue. This hotel primarily caters to tour groups and feels like it is run in an impersonal way. I had to go to the front desk several times about the same issue. The room we had was a loft with the bathroom on the bottom and the beds up a very steep staircase. All three nights there was loud music playing until after midnight. felt somewhat lifeless. no AC, streets around can be very noisy overnight. Since there is no AC i had to keep the window open.
