Very personal and comfortable hotel, where quality on all fronts was perfect! In contrast to another comment on this website, everything (incl. sauna) was working, the food was excellent, the breakfast was perfect, staff was helpfull, service minded, experienced and professional yet superfriendly. For sure a recommendation for anybody that visits Buenos Aires!. I loved the location and the rooms. Price/quality for the rates youoffered were excellent. Very high style hotel in the midst of the more bohemian San Telmo neighborhood. Exceptional service and facilities. Great breakfast and handsome, attentive, bilingual staff. amazing hotel. no faults at all . . . i was made to feel like a real guest . . . .the staff was really friendly and great. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Beautiful layout. Loved the wellness center and the restaurant had very good food and service. Extremely memorable stay.The room, the location, the staff, the design of the hotel, the pool, the cocktails, the free wifi and computers available, the free supply of water bottles, the smooth clean atmosphere. Have i mentioned the room already?. The location of Axel hotel. It is in walking distance to most areas of down town. Being on the edge of the historic district of San Telmo is a plus.Design and breakfast plus bed-linens. great hotel and staff.I liked the additional spa services, such as massage, and the pool. The location is pretty good if you want to be in San Telmo.a new experience. Check out is at noon, but most flights to US/Europe don't leave tillvery late. Did not find good facilities to shower and change in theevening for travel after laying all day by the pool. It did not botherme, but the rooms are not really sound prove for the music they play onThursdays and Fridays, and I immagine Sundays with pool party.If you want to go to sleep before 3AM request a room on the front of the building - music and parties occur in the pool courtyard some nights(mornings) until 3AM. location a bit dodgy , but you take cars everywhere in buenos aires , no need to walk down dark streets . . ..Nothing major, but the t-shirts staff wears saying "heterofriendly" are a bit over the top. As a hetero women it's my choice to stay at a gay hotel, i don't need to be constantly reminded of my sexual orientation or those of others. The only minor thing I can say about this hotel is the it did not have and easy chair, waste basket or individual wash clothes. Carpeting would be nice, other than the bare concrete floor.rooms are a bit small. I didn't like the street noise from the city room and the late-night pulsating dance music coming from the bar.If you like snooty gay attitutude on the part of the twenty- something staff, this place is for you. It wants to be a hotspot so bad, it blasts dance music at unreasonble hours. Sterile, brittle and flashy urban 1990 taste, with no charm whatsoever. What a missed opportunity for "the premier gay hotel.". no bar fridge/coffee tea facilities/buffet breakfast very ordinary and noisy rooms/poor location.
