Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful. Lovely outlook over banyan trees and sweet night twitterings emanated from the birds nesting in the banyans as we slept. Great location for Volcanoes National Park and Rainbow Falls and Akaka Falls. We did all 3 in one day. Beautiful walk in the gardens opposite the hotel.

"Pesto"restaurant was a 5 min drive away and was divine. -
The hotel doesn't get very good reviews so we were a little
skeptical about staying here. We were surprised to find the hotel
clean, comfortable, in a great location (wished we had booked for
2 days instead of 1),staff was very friendly and the renovations
were beautiful. Breakfast buffet was very well done. Free parking
was a bonus!

Forget the reviews about how it takes a long time to get anywhere - plot courses of shortest distances on the map they give you and only use tram / boat for novelty. Awesome bridges and islands around lagoon tend to be shortest route(s).

The place is beautiful! It really is quite impressive. Lots of things to
do. You really don't ever even have to leave the resort. But if you
want to one of my favorite beaches Hapuna is right up the road. I also
really liked the products they had in their bathroom so much so I bought
some to take home with me.

It's an older resort but that is not a problem at all. Fabulous
resort facilities, very clean and comfortable room (partial ocean view)
with great service. You can't swim in the ocean directly from the
hotel but it is such a dramatic location as the resort is positioned
directly on lava rock. Views of the ocean are stunning. Watching the

Beautiful location, spent the most of my time at the resort because it was so beautiful and relaxing. Amazing pool to sit back with a Mai Tai and watch the sunset. Watched the manta rays feeding and ate delicious 'spider shrimp' at Rays on the Bay. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay there again myself

First, the value. It was nicer than most upscale hotels we've
stayed at, and at half the price. All amenities were for comfort and
our stay was great! We even liked the wild turkeys and Nene Geese that
wander the greens. -

The view from the ocean side rooms was spectacular. The check in staff (Wendy) did a great job checking us in with a long line, she was very friendly and helpful. - Clean, well-maintained, quiet room
- Good location to the airport, town, and access to roads out of town (especially to volcanoes)

This is a great resort! The units are spacious and well equipped. They even have electric blenders,beaters and an ice bucket and numerous bbqs. This is a condo not a hotel although the services match a good hotel.
Luxuriously appointed apartment on first floor (not ground). Large sitting room and balcony. Beautiful tropical garden setting. Free garage parking. Immaculate swimming pools nearby and hot tubs. A short drive from restaurants and supermarkets.

Everything! Place was immaculate, big, in fact it was so spacious that the tv in the living/dining room appeared small. 30' away. We will be going back again today. Staff was accomodating and friendly. Met all expectations. Balcony was nice for morning and evening meals. -

It was walking distance to shopping and beach. Pool and jaccuzi was fabulous. We were greeted with a friendly face and plesant voice by Zeny. I forgot the names of other front desk girls. But they too were so sweet and plesant. -

We love the location - close to the downtown, which we walk to for
shopping, dining, etc. We especially enjoy sitting near the ocean

We liked the location it was ideal for access to shops, restaurants and trolley bus which takes you all round the area, it is also nicely situated on the beach with it's own lagoon.the restaurant and bar are also situated overlooking the sea which is really nice while dining especially as the sun is setting.

Everything! Eric, the owner,gave us a tour so we would know where things were. We had a 2 bedroom suite with lanai and bathroom for $90. Unheard of value. Laundry was down the hall and free with detergent and softener provided. There is a well stocked kitchen for use by all guests. Very quiet and pleasant place.
