Very good shuttle service to and from the airport, made life very easy. Bags could be stored for collection at a later date which made travelling a lot easier as we didn't have to take all our camping stuff when visiting other places. Food was good and breakfasts made delightful especially by the really lovely waitress who was always interested in

Compared to other hotels in the area, I liked that it was budget-
friendly. We stayed at the hotel to meet up with our tour group. Your
front desk clerk was extremely professional and helpful when we stayed
the night of June 15, 2013. Would stay again when we are in Anchorage.
The staff is an asset to your hotel.

this motel was a pleasure to stay in, we were in one of the end rooms but the room and facilities made up for the lengthy walk to reception. The staff were great and the shuttle too and from town and the airport was great. Food in the restaurant was amazing and reasonably priced. The lobby was a great place to relax and take in the wall art. -

Location beside the lake with all the personal ski-planes provided good visual entertainment. The Deck restaurant was good value for money with friendly staff, a good entertainer and it was a beautiful sunny evening. My experience in this hotel was very enjoyable and I would stay there again on my next trip.

We stayed there a couple of nights during our honeymoon and the place was perfect for that purpose. It's centrally located but still quite and private. The general manager Glen is always there and can assist you in case of any practical problems (we had some). We are also thankful to him that we were allowed to cancel our initial stay back in May,

What a delightful find. Spent 3 nights at the Copper Whale inn. It was very comfortable and homely and location was fantastic. The included breakfast was very tasty. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend the Copper Whale Inn and would certainly stay there again if I was to visit Anchorage again.

We really liked the apartment that backed up to the Alaska State Museum. It was very quiet and it was very functional. We cooked every morning and evening - lowering our travel expenses. The efficient and free shuttle to and for the ferry terminal and the airport is a $100 round trip value. The drivers are knowledgeable about the area with good suggestions for hikes, tickets for shuttles to Mendenhall Glacier, etc. computer in lobby for printing boarding passes also helpful. And they let you check in as soon as a room is ready when you come in on a ferry in the early morning.

Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. Asked them to make a 3
year old's night by getting us on the highest floor possible facing
the airport runway. Clerk also comped our parking since there was in
issue with our reservation. -
Beds were really comfortable and rooms were quiet.

We loved the hotel. Yes, it is in some need of repairs. However, I loved the authentic feeling of a remote location in Alaska. The food was fabulous as well and the staff was very accommodating. -
Location was good; offered a good complimentary breakfast; was linked to a good restaurant.

The best south view of Denali (Mt. McKinley) in Talkeetna. Walking
distance to everything. Snow machine tours available affordable,
snowshoes & bunny boots complimentary for guests, lodge open 24

We arrived late at night (2 AM) on a flight and had parked at Dimond Parking across the street. The Microtel was inexpensive, convenient, and completely suited our needs for a one-night late night stay. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. The hotel is not fancy, but is good value for the money. I would stay again in similar situations. -

The staff was incredibly helpful. Tony at the front desk did everything
he could to assist us even after we checked out of the hotel. He kept an
eye on our luggage while we spent the day in Fairbanks and while our
second hotel refused to pick us up, Tony arranged for our transfer.

Sophie Station Suites. -
This must be one of the best bargain options in Alaska. We paid 75 dollars for a spacious double room, that was clean and had everything necessary for even a longer stay. Wi Fi was perfect. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night and had to leave early in the morning, so we can say nothing about breakfast quality.
Generally, this place, if they keep their present rates, is highly recommended.

Beautiful grounds, sweet little pond with nice landscaping. Cabins are cute, comfortable and well stocked for cooking. Off the beaten track--in the woods, nice neighborhood for walking. There is a fabulous crepe restaurant around the corner even though it is in a neighborhood. -
