Quite close to both Dubai and Sharjah airports by taxi, and the latter is great for low-cost fares on Air Arabia to make short trips to other cities like Doha and Muscat. I always loved the location right by the beach, but the hotel was showing its age. The price is good, staff are courteous and wifi is available everywhere in the hotel for free. I would love to visit again.
