We were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, especially Donna the manageress who was extremely helpful all the time. We liked the cleanliness and the fact that the towels and drink making facilities were renewed every day. To be honest there was nothing we didn't like.We loved our room
(27).The beds were very comfortable,the bedding and towels clean and
fresh.David,Carla,Alex and Philippa were superb and looked after us
really well and we let them know this.Thanks too to the kitchen
staff whose meals we enjoyed each evening.We also enjoyed the

What is there not to like? The staff are simply brilliant - it's really nice to be recognised and addressed by name. We had a great room with a sea view. The bars are very good as are the restaurants and yes you really must try the Governors Indian cuisine at its best!!
We could go on - best thing to do is to go and try this hidden gem in the Chan

Excellent facilities, great service and good food. A good selection of places to eat and drink and nice outdoor seating areas as well as a pool. Very much a luxury hotel which we could not fault, except for the location which was our choice.

The room was good size very clean and fresh and the hotel food was great .I stay in hotels every week and this was one of the best stays I have experienced will be back .thanks to all the staff - The health suite and early check in. The breakfast was very good too.

The staff were brilliant and helpful. I was ill while I was there and they couldn't do enough for me. And they looked after my husband as I never left the room. The hotel is in a great location, good bus links to the rest of the island. Great walks, your right on the sea front. The meals my husband had were very good, different choice every night

The hotel is in a great location - great views and within very easy reach of lively beaches, airport and St Peter Port. The staff are accommodating, friendly and very knowledgable. Though not the most modern of hotels, the price is fantastic and we would definitely come back for a cheap yet lovely weekend getaway.

The hotel was more like a 5 star and the staff so friendly, they all made us feel so welcome.The breakfasts on the terrace were lovely. We only ate out two nights out of 9 and the hotel food was far superior. Olga was an absolute treasure, she looked after us so well, I would recommend this hotel.

Lady on reception was extremely friendly and helpful. We had not checked that the bed in our room would have no foot-board (I am 6'3") but she changed it to one without quickly and without fuss. Fantastic staff, the chef whose food is amazing very kindly took myself and another hotel guest to the Airport and back early in the morning. The room I had was well equipped and a good size. A very friendly place to stay.

Abbey Court Hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed in the family room, which has the children's room separate from the parents', separated by 2 doors, so there is privacy whilst still easy access to the children, and they are within hearing distance. The wife of the owner of the hotel was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so kind and made me a sandwich in the middle of the day when the kitchen was obviously not open. She knew I was having a horrible day and was so sweet, purely out of the graciousness of her own heart. What a lovely hotel and staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and personal.

Wonderful Hotel , all the staff were fabulous, great view from my room over St Peter Port, lovely breakfast, freshly cooked to order. Room was very spacious, and comfortable, memory foam mattress , luxury bedding and toilettries, very fluffy towels ! -

Lovely old-fashioned feeling with modern amenities. Professional and nice staff. Rooms are very clean. I stayed in a single room. The room itself was spacious enough but the bathroom was tiny. There was an iron and iron board in the room, which was a big +. Excellent breakfast. The location is a bit inconvenient. Not in walking distance from the town and there really is no restaurants (except hotels own) in waking distance. However bus 81 stops next to the hotel.
