We had travelled to Newcastle to visit some friends last minute and hotel selection was limited. I noticed Hotel Indigo had good ratings and reviews and decided to take a look, it looked amazing if not a little above my budget. Hotel was amazing from checking in to booking out. Interior design was
5* in our opinion. Modern contemporary and extremely comfortable.
Bedrooms were fabulous, from decor to complimentary refreshments,
bathrobes right down tho the Aveda products in the bathrooms. Cocktails
are a definite must, as is food, especially breakfasts which we enjoyed
in bed. Last but definitely not least .... The Staff... 5*++++++++ could
not do enough for us and nothing was ever any trouble they definitely

Everything!! The rooms are furnished to a very high standard and the bar and lounge are very comfortable. All the staff are professional, attentive and friendly. We experienced some difficulties with our booking but the managers could not have done more to rectify the situation. Will we stay there again - absolutely! -

I was pleasantly surprised. Having stayed st the chain before and not had a good experience but this one was very clean, well furnished (almost new), with lovely staff and the breakfast at the Beefeater next door was fantastic. I was visiting family in the area so it was perfect.
I couldn't fault it and will definitely go back. -

The location of the hotel was convenient to where I had to be the next day for a conference. I loved the site - by the river with wonderful views (especially at night), The hotel building was lovely - very attractive/welcoming exterior, wonderful interior design - very different and homely at the same time.

Every hotel has it's own personality but share a common set of standards and values... all very high. I like the wine list... Manchester had a special wine list which I would have liked to see in Newcastle. Young but not 'trendy'. The staff seem happy to be there!

The staff were very helpful at all times nothing was to much trouble thesame as last time we enjoyed your hotel and staff and would book younext time we come to newcastle thank your staff on our behalf. - We thought it was very friendly, clean, good rates and good location. The room was lovely.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and well thought out. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Six of us travelled to visit relatives in the area, we booked a table for nine people on our last evening. The restaurant is nicely devided into separate areas, the menu is varied and we all enjoyed our meals. -

Very clean and all the staff were very friendly they couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast was included in our room rate and it was excellent value for money

On our outgoing night we had a very poor nights sleep due to noisy neighbours but the staff were very sympathetic and refunded the cost of our stay. Incoming we had an excellent nights sleep and lovely breakfast, again the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you all -

The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, the staff were very polite and helpful. There were 11 of us on a stag weekend and the staff told us all the best places to go and the best way around the city. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. - the meals were delicious...especially the buffet breakfast with hangover, and all rooms are love

I booked the Hotel for a Special family get-together therefore having the bars and in particular the restaurant all under one roof meant that we could have a pre-dinner drink, change go to the restaurant and then have the use of a residents only bar afterwards meant there was something for everyone. In particular the menu and staff in Scalinis was
... τι λέει ο κόσμος » excellent! - Staff friendliness, clean comfortable room, considerate chambermaid who left towels outside room when do not disturb sign was placed, the night porter who is always patient despite the behaviour he has to cope with,and the considerate nature of the reception staff when we overstayed our visit by not realoising check out was an hour earlier on Sundays.
