This feels very much like a hotel from the right decade. It's very
modern, lots of design thoughts, rooms are small (container-sized, not a
coincidence) but they feel a lot bigger than they are due to the very
good design.
Rooms have music, mood lightning, lightning, blinds controlled by a remote. This is great fun for us that like new technology.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, check-in and check-out procedures are innvoative, yet very easy, the hotel itself is a design-masterpiece, the same goes to the rooms. Even though the room was small and missed some features you'd expect from a hotel room (such as a closet, trash-bin, hangers), it still impressed with king-size bed, rain shower, colored lights, all-in-one remote control, quietness, city view, free movie-package, free wifi and mostly with the feeling that you are personal

The room was celubrious and the extras (golf putting and decent cafetiere coffee, walk in wardrobe) well worth it in terms of improving the comfort and enjoyment of our stay. Also easy parking right outside hotel and although the hotel sits on a main road, it was extremely quiet. And possibly since it was my birthday, we received an upgrade on the room that I had booked.

Very good modern hotel with all the normal features you would expect.
Good room although the walk from the lift to my room through 3 or 4 fire
doors and with a case isn't easy and there is a delay for the lights
in each section to come on which could be an issue to nervous
travellers. Cracking Indian resteraunt within the hotel which I would
recommend. Nice bar area, good choice for business or pleasure, but it
is about a mile or 2 from the city centre, however, pleanty of cabs and
£3.50 fare t

First of all, I would like to say that I definitely would stay at the
Glasgow Grand Central Hotel when I return to this wonderful
city…especially since I travel by train. How convenient…the hotel is
attached to the station. The history of this property is wonderful to
read. I was impressed that Gene Kelly, Nat King Cole, Jimmy Durante, Roy

This was our first visit to Scotland and we could not have had a more phenomenal start. The front desk staff were wonderful and welcoming. Ross and AJ who staffed the concierge desk while we were there were outstanding. We neglected to complete a VIP card for these two gentlemen and should have. We were a little frazzled as we got lost entering Glasgow and Ross was helpful, provided directions to parking, looked after our bags and assisted with ideas for how best to see Glasgow. AJ directed

Everyone very helpful. Restaurant and staff superb. Could I suggest that "crisps or savouries" are available to purchase in Bar area. My sister and I relaxed in the bar at least an hour prior to lunch and wanted a packet of crisps, following our journey to Glasgow but nothing was available. - The hotel was fabulous with very friendly staff, the

The staff were all very friendly and attentive. There was a mistake with
the extras we had ordered and this was dealt with quickly with a
deduction taken off our bill. The bed was very comfortable and although
we both prefer a bath the shower was excellent. We liked the cocktail

The apartments were excellent, centrally located, nice big rooms with en-suite, central heating. Would be excelent for a weekend self-catering break as full kitchen facilities!! we were treated brilliantly from check in to checkout by the same member of staff who also served breakfast .Chris was very helpfull when we first arrived showing us all the places we were wanting to visit on a map which invaluable to us.He showed interest in us and at breakfast he asked how we had enjoyed our night .He was very good his job and

Very big rooms!!!! So you have a lot of space for your luggage etc. You can really feel and see that this is a brand new hotel. We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return! PS, they don't have a car park, but it is not a problem as they have a lot of vey cheap parking facilities just around the corner.

After reading some reviews I was a little worried about staying here but
please don't let the bad reviews put you off. My stay was wonderful.
Easy to find, the receptionist who greeted us was polite, and helped us
pay for our parking. The place was very clean, and it was obvious

I booked this hotel as I was arriving late by train into Glasgow and getting a very early train the next day, so wanted something inexpensive in a central location. I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming and helpful the member of staff on reception was, he give me advice about getting a late meal/take away from nearby Sauchiehall Street, and a

Excellent - All staff extremely friendly and helpful. Atmosphere very welcoming. Hot water available all the time, fresh towels daily and room cleaned thoroughly. Super breakfast. Internet access, couldn't have asked for more, really enjoyed our stay.

I booked 3 nights here as price was right. Room small and sparse but adequate for our simple needs.
The hotel is under a car park and besides a casino, bowling alley and cinema, like a mini mall enclave.
As this is budget stay - you pay for extras. Save 2 quids if you don't get room serviced during your extended stay.
Internet is 3 quids for 2 timed hours and signal available at the breakfast hall on 6th. It is fast though so that was fine.
