We certainly tested their 24hr service as due to a hectic schedule we checked in, following a call to them earlier in the evening, at nearly 1am. We liked everything. The cooked breakfast was one of the best we had ever had - cooked when ordered. The staff really friendly and helpful. the accommodation was lovely. We had a 6ft bed!. Easy to get to and a short walk from the town centre albeit on a quite busy road (which didn't matter much as the room was soundproof enough and there was no disturbance). Well equipped and has everything you could expect to find in a B&B. Room was spotless clean and so was the bathroom. Good service at breakfast - quick and effective. Decent choice on the menu.

Was only there one night but it's a very comfortable place to stay, run by friendly hosts. They are in the process of renovating & when it's finished it should be sensational! Loved it. -
The welcome was good. I arrived in the evening and left by 0400 hours so cannot comment on much else.
I would recommend it.

The room was lovely and spacious, comfortable and warm. As a sole traveller I had a twin room with settee and TV. The en suite bathroom was spacious with plenty of hot water. It felt like a home from home. Beautiful decor. Very close to town and all amenities. Friendly and helpful owners. I shall visit again when I am next

Our room was large, modern and had every convenience. The hotel was in a great location and our one night stay was an absolute pleasure. The breakfast was perfect and the service was excellent. I would recommend the Guesthouse to everyone, and would very happily stay there again. -

We arrived after a long journey which was held up by bad accident. Staff were friendly and welcoming and got our booking sorted quickly so we could relax and enjoy a meal and drinks at the bar. Bar staff were very accommodating and very helpful bearing in mind we were very tired. Any queries were quickly investigated and sorted. Excellent service

sockets etc. Theres a pub-grub type restaurant ideal for when youre just
passing through and dont want to have to venture out, and breakfast was

Absolutely brilliant experience. Knowledgable and friendly staff, who welcoming and helpful. Cleanliness was second to none, restaurant very good. When my husband had a bit of a choking fit he was brought a glass of water without having to ask. Felt very looked after. Can't give you enough praise. Breakfast excellent too.

The Mountsorrel is a good guest house which has easy access for both Loughborough & Leicester & nearby countryside. It is well maintained & decorated with most elements a visitor might need. The owners are friendly & helpful. The parking is good too.

It was as we were about to depart that we were offered -
First time guests at this hotel and on good b&b deal,so was delighted when we informed reception that there was a slight noise in our first room that they moved us to a newly upgraded suite. It was huge and where still had a few finishing touches to complete,was really comfortable. It was lovely and serene at breakfast,where staff were really friendly and made an omelette for me with no hesitation. The grounds were beautiful. I will definitely consider staying again.

Friendliness of staff, quality of food was excellent and at very reasonable prices.
