  Great greeting from staff although pub very busy. Helpful and polite staff all round. Super setting by canal. Small but perfectly formed single room with everything you could need. Bathroom VERY small but manageable. Good clear information in the room. Room was spotless. Average continental breakfast served by very pleasant young lady.   At the time I stayed at the hotel they were in the process of redecorating the main hall and most of the bedrooms. However, this work was being carried out in a manor that did not disturb the guests. My room was very nice, clean and well presented. My only criticism is that there were no spare toilet rolls in the bathroom. - Professional flexible and helpful staff, who made organising our stay(which included a funeral 'reception') easy and stress-free. Good menufor borh breakfast and evening meal.

  nice chalet style room overlooking countryside. Owners very helpful (although I never saw them) Nice clean room and bathroom, with lovely bed sheets and covers. Nice toiletries. The horses in the stables nearby complete the experience, one my partner and I will definitely be repeating again in the future!
