In the heart of the charming town of Kilsyth, this modern inn is surrounded by wonderful views of the surrounding Lanarkshire countryside and the Campsie Fells.
The Coachman Hotel has 11 en suite rooms, all of which have TVs, telephones and tea/coffee making facilities. Each comfortable and inviting room has been tastefully furnished to reflect the inn’s countryside setting, with wooden floors and furnishings as well as inviting, crisp white bed linen.
Warm and welcoming, the bar is at once classic and yet contemporary. Furnished and decorated in rich woods, the bar offers friendly service and a wide range of real ales, bottled lagers, wine and spirits, including, of course, Scotch whisky.
The restaurant offers tasty food made with locally sourced, fresh seasonal produce.
Free wireless internet access is available in the public areas and free private parking is available on site.

The friendly atmosphere and staff.I was at family wedding(son) and wedding co-ordinator was very helpful and pleasant. The room was spotless and although small had all you need.Dinner was excellent also breakfast.Although we only ate wedding menu and breakfast the overall menu was appealling and nicely priced. You could say we were delighted with our stay and will be back at some time to dine and stay. όλα τα σχόλια »
Four of us arrived at 10:30 am and the room was not available until 3:00 pm. As we had to be at a wedding at 2:00 pm we needed somewhere to change into our wedding attire. Step up Tony McMenemy, he quickly had a room cleaned and prepared for us to change clothing. We were all very impressed with his attitude and friendliness in helping us.
i stayed for one night with my two daughters (aged 8&4) and they really enjoyed.it.We had an excellent evening meal & couldn't complain about the quality of food.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

As well as a hotel it's a pub and restaurant, there isn't really anywhere else locally to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful, food was excellent.
+The lady helped us with our filthy bikes - offered shelter for them and water to wash them from the mud
+delicious breakfast
+ nice rooms without carpets.
A very comfortable base for the reason we were in the area. Very conveniently placed for our journey to the area. Food excelent and plentiful.
Everything. The value for money was exceptional; the bedroom was first class; the food was delicious; and the staff most helpful and pleasant.

The room was clean
Breakfast very nice.
Meals were good.
Cheap.
nothing.
My only resevation is if you have children this hotel is on a main road so parents would need to be vigilante with road safety.
In the morning, i went for a shower and even with the temperature turned all the way up, it was still a cold shower i got....room 11.
The bathroom was very small, not suitable for people of a bigger build. Friday and Saturday night there is a disco/entertainment which finishes at 1.00 am, the revellers were quite noisy at kicking out time, no respect for hotel guests or local residents.
Bedroom was a wee bit small, if bed positioned though 90deg and lest furniture and rearanged the room would have appeared bigger.
A little tired looking in the bar area.
It was very hard to fault. Broadband connectivity in the bedrooms could be a plus.
Very noisy road but this was due to the location of the room which was facing the street - I'm sure if we had asked to be moved rooms this would have been no trouble to the staff at all.
All was good.
lack of shower gel+shampoo. For 1 night didnt think id need to pack this. minor observation.
My wife had a suffered a nasty cut to her leg resulting in a trip to the
A&E Dept of Monklands hospital. This was caused by bumping her leg
on the corner of the bed frame. The frame extended beyond the mattress
by 4to6 in. And was not visible at first as it was covered with a throw.
An accident report was made. The situation needs to be addressed
urgently as the Hotel could find itself sued by a more litigious couple.
rooms are small but had everything you would need.
The size of the bathroom in the bedroom.
I don't remember.
under supported breakfast Boy needs customer focus attitude.
Pillars in bedroom very hard.
No hairdryer in bedroom. My partner was disapointed. Very busy road at front of the hotel. If we were staying again we would ask for a room at the back of the hotel as the noise of heavy lorries passing by early morning woke us up.
nothing.
WiFi was not working
very basic rooms
remote control broken
door handle broken on room
had to run hot tap for too long to get hot water
breakfast poor - good choice but v poor cooked bfast
unclear one way system in car park. very faded No Entry markings on floor as you are exiting front of site ( the wrong way!!)
my room was on the front of the hotel and very noisy with window open.
.
Noisy at closing time for about hour outside our window. Check-in poor-
no key for 15 minutes and confusion. No leaflet to say when breakfast
was served. No phone either to contact reception.
Shower had a very poor flow - this is not a fault of the shower, but a characteristic of the water system it is run off.
Sound system in function room was poor.
Not keen on the wooden floor in bedroom.
Slight damp smell in bedroom (8).
£10.00 deposit for the TV remote.
When it's a weekend don't expect to get much sleep, very rowdy!.
I booked a double room and when I arrived at hotel was put in a twin room. Even though I booked it more than 4 weeks in advance. Guy at check in wasn't very helpful or friendly at all. probably wont be back.
There was a mix up by the staff and they cancelled our booking by mistake so we had to spend the first 3 nights in a bed & breakfast. We were offered no discount for this inconvenience althoug I have stayed in the hotel many times before and consider myself a good customer.
Rock Concert on the floor below our room until 1am!!
Bedside shelves sloping down so that everything slid off.
Room quite small, wouldn't stay there for more than a couple of nights.
overnight stay and breakfast and entertainment.room was very very small. We had cold showers. And you pratically made your own breakfast.would not go back.
Noisy karaoke up to 1am. No hairdryer. £10 deposit for tv remote
controller.
Party on room below bedroom .
Very little sleep.
Won't be back.
The noise on both nights from Booming discos, wooden floors didn't help, and doors constantly being banged, this is easily the worst hotel globaly I have ever had the misfortune to stay in, never never again.
