The staff are excellent, very friendly and very accommodating. Parking facilities are very good and the staff have good local knowledge. The hotel is very close to the city centre and patrolled by the Police on foot. The hotel is within walking distance to all the nightlife. The hotel is very quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable. -

Apart from what appears on the right, I really liked the hotel, its staff, particularly the breakfast lady and its facilities.

Extremely friendly people who, upon request, arranged us a room with view on the river. Great location, centrally in Inverness (10 min to centre), superb accommodation with all necessary needs on hand. Loving decoration and open for a nice talk. This Guest House is managed by very polite and helpfull people! The location is fantastic on the river side near the Castle, just a little walk to restaurants and attractions on the city centre. Breakfast is very good, home made and always with a lot of care from the owners! I'll recomend to every one! I'll go back again if I'll be around!

Although I arrived early, I was made welcome immediately. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The facilities were excellent value for money, the breakfast was first class, and I was able to leave my luggage in the hotel and use the lounge if i wished until my taxi arrived (1.30pm). My room had a lovely view of the river, and in general was very spacious and comfortable. I had booked a small room which proved to be lovely decorated. It was located at the back of the house and had all I could wish for. Teapot, plenty of biscuits, two bottles of water, some chocolates. Modern clean rooms with excellent shower room, especially liked the shower gel supplied in wall dispenser gorgeous smell, the hand soap dispenser was the same, we stayed in room 9.
The hotel in general had a nice cosy feel to it.
Excellent staff, extremely helpful, cheery friendly and efficient, I travel a fair bit and these were the best I had encountered in quite a while.
The breakfast was lovely, yet again served by friendly cheery efficient staff.

Ross was an exceptional host. His nature/personality is perfect to be the Host of Royston.
His Home/Guest House is warm and inviting as he is what a wonderful time we had plenty of talking, laughter and good times.
Nothing was too much trouble and the cleaniness and décor was just like home.
Would recommend highly.

The room was clean and well appointed with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. A nice lounge area for guests. Piping hot breakfast served at table and good choice on buffet.Two establishments close by for evening meals. The owner was friendly and offered local advice. I would recommend staying here to friends and family.

The staff were very polite and helpfull. The rooms were lovely and clean and and we weren't put in a cheap room just because it was out of season and low cosr. We had a room with a lovely view of the river! - I though the hotel had excellant cleanliness and was very central to clubs and pubs made for a perfect day

The location, the sense of familiarity. Being a solo traveller you felt secure and that if something went wrong there would be help. At breakfast with the other guests, while at separate tables, the host made it feel like a big friendly group. The owners know the area and were very helpful. The staff were incredible. We left early, before breakfast the breakfast hours had started, and they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches and fruit to take with us on the train.
The rooms were bright and clean, and both the mattresses and the pillows were deliciously comfortable. (This was in contrast to previous hotels on our trip.) I would very happily stay here again.
