Facing west out across the Wash, Sunset Inn is based in the traditional family resort of Hunstanton. Newly refurbished with free on-site parking, it is just a 3-minute walk from the beach and the notable red chalk cliffs.
Within the dining area, a hearty full English breakfast is served. Lighter alternatives are also served.
Each of the bright and elegantly decorated bedrooms features a fantastic sea view, a flat-screen TV and a DVD player. Also included is free Wi-Fi, a CD player, a seating area and an en suite bathroom with a shower.
For entertainment, Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary and Rainbow Park Amusements are both just a short 15-minute walk away. Also 4 minutes’ drive away from Sunset Inn is Searles Sea Tours, where guests have an opportunity to spot some grey seals.

We had excellent hospitality from the moment we arrived. We were met on
arrival and our luggage taken up to our room immediately with a smile.
Every little detail of comfort was made available to us. The breakfasts
were 5* and our hosts with their subtle sense of humour made our holiday
special. We would highly recommend their company for a relaxing break.
The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the seafront and the theatre which we were attending. We had a warm friendly welcome from the proprietor and the bedroom was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable,obviously decorated with taste and care. very friendly welcome from michelle, room was lovely and spacious, very clean with attention to detail too. good sea view form window and a good location in general being central to old hunstanton :) breakfast was delicious and plenty of whatever you wanted!!would love to come back again soon.
We stayed in the Green Room which was clean,large, bright, and airy, with a view to the sea. The staff were extremely kind and helpful.Breakfast was excellent. We would have no hesitation in trying to stay at the Sunset Inn again when visiting Hunstanton.
Friendly staff, clean and pleasant room with lovely view of the sun set. Comfortable bed, fantastic leather chairs, great location. And of course, delicious breakfast.
We love Hunstanton because it caters for all tastes,the front is marvellous for walking, lovely gardens and great variety of eating places.Sunset Inn is A1!.

the location was fine but it rained all the time we were there.
The cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.
To be constructive, we had our towels changed every day. Helping the
environment we would recommend that the guests had the choice to put the
towels in the bath if they needed changing, with a small notice inviting
guests to have this option.

TV reception was poor, but I understand this is a problem in the area and apparently affects more than just this guest house. Could possibly overcome this problem with a basic Sky or Virgin Media cable package? (Dvd players are available in the rooms though, and a selection of dvds available. The wifi worked fine on our stay.).

No alcohol allowed at all. We enjoy a nightcap so were disappointed when we read that this was a definite "no". We feel this should be mentioned on the web site.
Sausages a bit spicy, but didn't put us off enjoying the rest!.

on the morning we departed we had no water in the hotel couldnot have a shower or use the toilet.
We were disappointed at the stairs 4 flights to our room and no option of evening meal or having somewhere to sit and relax,rules and regulations were rigid.
